ummmm. someone tell me this is something i just haven't noticed before: no longer says "more to be announced" on the aritst page? is this it?
no,it says it on the artist list on the right hand side, this is def. not it - they have yet to officially announce the jazz tent, Medeski and Martin, etc.

^^and this is where Stanton Moore, Medeski, and Martin come in......sweetness!
EDIT: this announcement of the Jazz tent, and the Silent Disco, does not deserve to be called "useless", just cause we didnt get The Mars Vota, or MMJ, or Bisco..etc, doesnt mean this is crap. IMO
THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT was added to the jazz tent.. I heard of this group awhile back and they are pretty damn good.. Worth a listen to anyone who likes jazz or just a bunch of isntruments jamming out..

At least we know that they're bringing back the silent disco. That's a good thing. I haven't heard anything about an arcade tent though. Hopefully they'll have that too.

We are all so spoiled
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I think they're just trying a new marketing strategy this year. They came out like a bat out of hell with the initial lineup, and sold tons of tickets. Why blow their load in March and April?
I think we'll be getting 2-3 weeks of big-time announcements before the month is over. If it doesn't happen in that timeframe, then it won't happen at all. Schedule should be released within the next month. Once thats done, the big acts are pretty much set in concrete.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

thanks for whoever smited me for my impatience... im just so so so so so so excited. never was very good at surprises, i just hope there is another one.
well it seems that they're kinda doing the announcements in stages each week, like we had cafe, comedy, new jazz tent, so maybe next week they will do just a plain and simple artist announcement. if you think about it, the last "actual" artist announcment (at least one that isn't part of a side stage like the comedy tent or cafe stage) was Pete Yorn, which was awhile ago. i'm predicting an artist announcment next week, and that being it for new performers of any sort
