do double sleeping bags that dont weigh a million pounds ( were flying) exsist? or can u just zip to sleeping bags together in a bed shape. i have to buy a new sleeping bag either way so id love some advice!! thanks!

The wife and I have sleeping bags that zip together. Just make sure to order one with a right hand zip and one with a left hand zip. We looked into a double bag as well but went with two singles so that we could use them separately if need be.
My bf and I just bought sleeping bags to zip together - we both needed ones. As long as they are 2 of the same bag, they will zip together. If they are different bags, they may or may not. I'd think it should be ok if they are at least the same brand.
As for a real double or 2 zipped together, we went the two route so that we would both have one if we are doing seperate camping trips - like me going to Summer Camp next weekend without him.
