My vote went to Syzygy, in part because Shadowlands had some huge conflicts for me (Willie, Snoop, and the Dresden Dolls all at the same time; Tenacious D and the Roots at the same time, and They Might Be Giants and Arrested Development at the same time). Also, when looking at the schedules, I'd have had full days on Friday and Saturday at Syzygy with a couple of shows on Sunday (when I'm usually wore out and up for a light day anyway). On Shadowlands, the only full day I would have had would have been the second day (the day that presented 2 of those big conflicts), while there were only a couple of things on each of the three remaining days that would have been on top of my must-see list.
Even with those horrible conflicts Syzygy ends up with three amazing days of music. But even as great as the Roots are I don't think they could play six hours of music in one day, most of which is in the middle of the hot sun, and bring the same level of energy.
I really liked the shadowlands lineup because it looked realistic but the headliners don't excite me as much and half of the bands i would be excited about are the same time on the same day.
