Hey all,
I think I'm in guest camping this year, pretty happy about it. Is there anyone who has done this before / is doing it this year that can fill me in on the logistics, especially the getting-there part? Can I still expect to wait in the traffic jams and all that? I'm looking at getting there by 2 or 3 hopefully. And, is it possible to drive out of guest camping for runs to Wal Mart or something throughout the weekend? All help is appreciated.
If you're in guest camping, you'll get instructions re: where to pick up your bracelets a few days before the fest. There is virtually no wait at all getting into the camp, different entrance than regular campers (no car line-up), and depending on where you're put, you might be able to get your car in and out...there are "streets" to drive on, so just don't trap yourself in (ie. don't put your tent between the car and the "street").
It's for guests of the bands and whatnot, I think.
Don't know much about it. I hear the camping area is behind the What stage, sort of a super VIP thing. Also think that's where the AmEx rock star bus is located (if anyone actually bought that package).
If you are looking at the Which stage, the camping is just to the right of Which. You should definitely be able to get your car in and out if need be. You will be very, very happy.
im in for a chance to win a pair of guest passes. i wont use them if i win them cause i have a big group im going with. i will throw them up here to a needy rooster IF i win them.
I just got an email reply from someone from the info@bonnaroo.com email address that says you need a guest camping pass to enter the camping area. Now I'm concerned since we don't have that and are traveling from out of state.
