Goodness, Strum is really gonna have his hands full this month! This is really neat though, I like it. A really good way to actually get to know the more well known members of the board outside their everyday posts and random PMs and such.
I have a few questions to add but I'll wait until later on in the game so it's a little spaced out.

What is your ideal memorial day playlist? Also your perfect meal for the day.
If you don't mind, I'm going to take a day tomorrow to gather up the ideal playlist. Doing it off the top of my head would be unproductive and probably not so ideal.
My perfect meal would be an omelet with ham, bacon, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and cheese with coffee for breakfast. Beer for lunch, and grilled burgers with beer for dinner. Ice cream for dessert.
My god I'm hungry and think I'm gonna have to do just that tomorrow!
This has proven to be more difficult than I initially thought... I'm not sure why half of these songs would be on a Memorial Day playlist, other than for the most part it's about enjoying summer weather, loving life, and being free... which to me is how I love to spend my Memorial Day. In fact, I think I'll be rockin' this playlist this evening as I'm grillin' away!
Probably not a very conventional playlist for the holiday, and I don't know if it's anything remotely close to what you had in mind... but hope you dig it anyways ;D
1. BB King - Let the Good Times Roll 2. Bob Marley - Sun in Shining 3. Sublime - Summertime 4. Ben Harper - When It's Good 5. Dave Matthews - American Baby 6. Two Gallants - Long Summer Day 7. Langhorne Slim - Hello Sunshine 8. Phish - Free 9. Neil Young - Heart of Gold 10. Talking Heads - The Big Country 11. Jurassic 5 - Freedom 12. Tom Petty - American Girl 13. Bob Dylan - Summer Days 14. Led Zeppelin - Good Times Bad Times 15. Mason Jennings - Empire Builder 16. Grateful Dead - U.S. Blues 17. Carbon Leaf - Home 18. Pearl Jam - Alive 19. The Beatles - Rock and Roll Music 20. Gov't Mule - Soulshine 21. The Allman Brothers Band - Ain't Wastin' Time No More

Glad I could help you enjoy this great holiday even more today with this playlist. My perfect memorial day playlist is CCR Green River, followed up by Van Morrison- Astral Weeks.
Next question to get this thread going, if you could be any dinosaur, what would it be and why?
Next question to get this thread going, if you could be any dinosaur, what would it be and why?
I'd love to be a pterodactyl, but I've also always had a fascination with velosaraptors... Maybe I could find a dino-breeder and be a poison spewing raptor with wings
1) East of Eden, by John Steinbeck 2) Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, by Tom Wolfe 3) Angels & Demons, by Dan Brown
I find that most often my favorite books are the most recent ones I've read, but if I had to think back and rank them I think this would be it. I don't read nearly as many books as I should...

I'm to assume this is an unlimited supply of either? I feel as though I've lived enough of my life with a more or less unlimited supply of water... I'd have to go beer, but that was probably the rhetorical part of your question

^^When I graduated high school my parents took me and my brother on a cruise through the Mediterranean. We left for the trip a few days early and stayed in Barcelona for a few days, then traveled through Florence, Nice (FR), Marseilles (FR), Monaco, Rome, and Pisa. That was the first time I had ever been out of the country and it was just all around an incredible experience and I can't wait to do it again sometime... sans parentals
My dream vacation... that's tough. Does spending an entire summer going from festival to festival to festival count? Otherwise, I think I would thoroughly enjoy backpacking through Europe and just traveling with no exact destination in mind really. Maybe ending it with Glastonbury or any of the other insane Euro-festies.
Do you prefer your toilet paper to hang over or under?
Which video game systems do you own?
Are you mafia?
1) I actually just put down "The World Without Us" by Alan Weisman. I had read it once before a year or so ago maybe but I hadn't really retained a lot of it when I saw it on my shelf the other week so I figured I'd give it another read. It's an environmental study into what would happen if the human race simply disappeared and the effects on various cities, animal species, monuments, and so forth. It does an excellent job both explaining the impact humans have on the planet but also how much the world's existence relies on us being here.
2) Funny you ask that... I'm actually incredibly OCD about this, and it has to hang over. Sometimes I'll even correct this if I see it in someone else's place, just because for whatever reason it drives me insane to see it hanging under the backside of the roll
3) None, although until I moved out this month my roommate owned an N64 which I thoroughly enjoyed, and hope to find one cheap soon as I get an income
4) Nope. In fact, the only time I've ever been mafia it was plagued by controversy and I really just want to kill some fuggers for once
1 Your SSN 2 Mothers Maiden Name 3 Credit card # 4 first pets name
1) I was actually filling out some health insurance application today and had to find some old medical records on a surgery I had shortly after I was born and my SSN was different on record than the one I know of nowadays... Is that weird? Since that's the case, I can't answer this question accurately
2) Aw damn... my wits are suckin' tonight and I don't have a wiseass response to this one... yet
4) Nope. In fact, the only time I've ever been mafia it was plagued by controversy and I really just want to kill some fuggers for once
If I remember correctly, that must be the one that involved wooz, an unusually high mafia body count & somebody getting drafted as a result. Was that the one?
Also: if you were currently Mafia, you would lie about it when asked... correct?

^^You've got some good memory, sir kdogg. That is indeed the one, I was drafted with one or two rounds left because the mafia was getting nailed and had no hopes of winning. I like to think my addition to the team was a direct result in the victory
And I'm such an honest person in everything I do, there is absolutely no way I could live with myself if I lied about something so vital to everyone's survival. I would most certainly have cracked and broken down into a bawling fetal position begging you not to tell anyone
Wow... I think I'd have to go with a Mastiff, although I do believe that if raised properly and in a non-aggressive environment a Pitbull could be an awesome pet to have as well. But a Mastiff would just be fun to own I think. I'd love to take the dog for a walk around a neighborhood and see all the reactions from other people walking around. I'd probably stick with the famed movie theme and name him/her Chopin! And who wouldn't want to be able to hug a dog while standing up?
Would you rather have a bionic arm or a bionic leg?
Would you rather die of the cold or die of the heat?
Would you rather have your face and body but the brain of a chimpanzee or be a chimpanzee but have your human brain?
Would you rather wake up and find your teeth have fallen out or your hair has fallen out?
Would you rather be a penguin who's a bird but can't fly or a flying fish that's a fish that can fly a bit?
Bionic leg, only because I would be pissed off if I couldn't play my guitar due to an injury
Die of heat. I absolutely hate being extremely cold.
Brain of a chimp. Sometimes I feel like I'm halfway there anyways, so maybe it wouldn't be too big of a change.
Most definitely hair fallen out. I honestly would be a bit concerned about anyone who would rather lose all their teeth than their hair, but maybe that's just me since baldness runs in my genes and most likely I'll have that happen to me sooner than later anyways ;D
Well, I think I'd rather be a penguin. No real reason, other than I like penguins. I hope it wouldn't be too cold though... (see above )
whats the last album you listened to multiple times in a row??\
and... are you ready the rage the quack out of starscape>roo with me!!!!!!!
"Coming Up for Air" by Back Door Slam and Davey Knowles. I listened to that 5 or 6 times through yesterday.
nah, that sounds pretty lame raging all night and morning to Bisco and then Phish But I still gotta guarantee my starscape appearance. Money's tight right now...
