I probably most excited to see Jane's Addiction. I've never seen them.
I will nominate insidejoke for my successor since she was so eager to answer questions a few weeks back.
I'm not surprised about any questions in particular being absent, but rather at some members not asking more of any questions. I was perhaps a bit surprised by some of the questions that people did ask. Like I said I would have rather taken the reigns during a busier time of year, but then again I'm so busy working that I wouldn't have been able to keep up. I've been in Albuquerque, NYC, San Fran and back to NYC then home to LI, worked two trade shows and did six days of training in the past two weeks. I barely have time to log on any more.

Hippies are usually a good time and they generally like good music.
I have no time for Mafia. Going to Voodoo later this week, then working in NOLA next week, Dallas the following weekend, then Cincinnati followed by Columbus and that only brings me up to 11/17 when I plan to go see Skinny Puppy.

I get new music from all over the place. Some from a good radio station that we have here in NY as well on NPR or from friends and relatives. My brother and nephew introduce me to lots of stuff as does LRH.
I get news from various sources. A lot of radio including standard news radio, talk radio and NPR. I watch 24 news while on the road. I don't have cable or any other tv service at home. When I'm in hotels I watch CNN and Fox mostly with some MSNBC. I find CNN to pretty straight forward and Fox to be, well unique. When I want to find more information on a story I'll look it up on the internet in various places. I often find new sources of information when researching something. Also most hotels provide a free USA today every morning. I'll read that sometimes.
kdogg, thanks for the heads up on the nomination. Fishing Maniac, thank you for the nomination and sorry again for messing things up a few weeks back. I'm not the smartest sometimes. I respectfully accept.
Who's your favorite talking head on each of the respective news channels?
I don't trust any television news with the *possible* exceptions being PBS or CNN. PBS = Charlie Rose, CNN = Christiane Amanpour. I prefer to get my news from NPR if at all possible.
What is your favorite venue for shows in Indiana? And why?
I have to preface this answer by stating that I've not been to all, or nearly all, the venues in Indiana. But I've been to a lot.
Indoor: The Buskirk-Chumley Theater (historically called the Indiana Theater), built in 1922 as a silent movie house in downtown Bloomington. It's been remodeled into a fabulous place to see a show. There isn't a bad seat in the house, plus they sell local wine and beer during shows. www.buskirkchumley.org/
Bar: The Bluebird, one of the legendary music venues in Bloomington. It will always hold a special place in my heart because it's where I've been introduced to so many artists: Todd Snider, Mofro, Jakob Dylan, Rusted Root, Drive-by Truckers, etc. It's an institution. www.thebluebird.ws/
Outdoor: The Lawn at White River State Park. Not too big. Not too small. Draws great acts and you can walk all over downtown Indy from this locale. www.in.gov/whiteriver/lawn/index.html
My favorite place to see any show, however, is an outdoor camping festival. There are only very small ones in Indiana but it's still a good time.
New question for you since I know you have children: how did you choose your child(ren)'s name(s)?
I am a fan of names that work well throughout a person's entire life span. For example, when either of my little ones become a Supreme Court justice, discovers the cure for AIDS, or wins a Nobel Peace Prize, their names will serve them well.
My oldest daughter is named Hannah Marie. Hannah, in the baby book I had at the time, meant 'gift from God.' Web sites since then say it means 'grace.' It's classic and beautiful. Marie is my ex-husband's grandmother's name who is a saint and deserves a flock of children named after her.
Victoria Lynn is my baby (at three, can I still call her a baby?). My mother is the oldest of eight children, and her sister Victoria was the second born and her closest sibling/friend. My Aunt Vicki lost her only daughter at birth and I thought it a fitting tribute to name my second daughter after her. Lynn is my middle name, my Mom's middle name, my Dad's middle name, and my sister's middle name.
I often call them both by their first and middle name (without them being in trouble): Hannah Marie and Tori Lynn.

That was a follow-up question for Fishman, but I'm glad to see you take it and run with it anyhow.
Since you're (relatively) close to Wisconsin... do you get many of our microbrews down there, and do you have a favorite?
As my final official duty as BMOTM I give you the naked pics of me as promised. ;D
Can I ask one last question for Fishing Maniac? Was this shot timed, and if not - who took it? I'm going to assume it was lordrockinhood until I hear otherwise.

kdogg, I've figured out several ways to screw this thread up. Never cease to be amazed.
I assume that we get some of your microbrews down here. Big Red Liquors has an enormous selection, but I stick with what I know. I do drink Leinenkugels though...does that count? And my friends drink PBR and the Champagne of Beers, Miller High Life...they're from Wisconsin, right?
Leinenkugel's counts. I think they still qualify as a micro. If I remember correctly, they're still independently owned/operated but have a distribution deal with Miller. Miller is based in Milwaukee, yes, but wouldn't categorize it as a micro. Pabst left some time ago, leaving behind only a P.O. Box to give the appearance of continuing to be Milwaukee-based. I believe they're in St. Louis now.
Have you ever seen New Glarus beers down in Indiana? I would definitely recommend them, particularly their Spotted Cow for starters.
No my girlfriend took it in a hotel in San Fransisco last week. quacked up part is that's not really me.
Just kidding.
Inside, are you aware of how unbelievably sexy your signature is? Do you at all resemble the girl in your signature?
Where did the picture in your avatar come from?
Does the woman in your avatar have oddly placed breasts that point directly at her chin or is that a goiter?
My friend and fellow Infrorooster Wolfaroo made that signature graphic for me. I love it. I don't necessarily see it as sexy, just beautiful. As for whether I resemble the graphic, I'm not sure. I'm blonde, so that's one strike against me. I'm pretty tall, thus have long legs so...maybe?
I found my avatar on Photobucket. Again, I just thought it was beautiful. And kdogg is right...you are viewing her left shoulder as a breast. Naughty boy.

I will take you up on your suggestion, for sure. I love microbrews, mostly Indiana locals though (Upland being my favorite). I also like Schafly's from St. Louis and Pike Brewing from Seattle.
