Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Something's missing with the things way are. Far less entertaining. So G King, why the change in demeanor? Did your Dad finally tell you that he loved you?
Yep. I'll be the first to admit that I was being a total jerk. Now, I've been making an honest effort to be friendly and constructive and such. But you still feel the need to make personal jabs at me? That's cool, man. I probably desreve it, but I was hoping/trying to get past all of that junk. Whatever.
No matter what you try, my friend, I'm not going to bite. I'm really trying to turn things around, but if you want to keep it going...Well, that's going to be all you. I'm done.
Oh yeah! I've just recently discovered Slim Cessna's Auto Club. What (if any) opinion do you have of these guys, kdogg? I'm really digging them, myself.
It kinda sucks having the shortest month and having to cut out a day early, but I think we've made the most of this month. I'm not sure whether myself or the audience is more relieved. I know I'm glad a brief respite from Inforoo is part of my vacation.
I'm getting up in about three hours. I get to escape Wisconsin winter for a while, and road trip cross-country with two of my favorite people in the world. That's worth cutting the shortest month short.
Before I wrap things up, some thanks are in order. For brevity's sake, I'm sticking with the tried-and-true Top5 so please don't be offended if you're excluded. To nodepression for creating this thread, deeming me worthy of the honor, and having the impeccable timing to be BMOTM during peak cabin fever season. To Garageland, for (amongst other things) being the only one to actually send me a PM when it was my stated preference. To Jho, because that meeting Inforoosters question should be asked every month from now on. I'll reserve it for her if she wants to ask it monthly. To G King, because "long-winded, egotistical and self-indulgent" kind of became a rallying cry. Last, but certainly not least, to Superbek - our March Board Member of the Month - for going the extra mile with the interrogation... and just possibly being long-winded, egotistical and self-indulgent enough to follow my footsteps. Thanks
Who is your favorite comedian? What is your favorite curse word? How likely are you to see birthday-sharer Steve Martin at Bonnaroo? When was the last time you had a cigarette? Who are your heroes?

Congrats, Bek! Kdogg punked-put before he could answer this, so I pass it on to you. I know it's kind of random, but he'd already been asked almost everything imaginable, so.....

Favorite comedians: Steven Wright, Bill Cosby, Eddie Izzard, Demetri Martin, David Spade, Robin Williams, Cheech & Chong, David Cross, Roseanne, Dave Attel, Steven Lynch... I seriously cannot pick one. It's like asking me who my favorite band is.
Curse Word: F.U.C.K. It's sensual, sexy, serious, angry, general, sharp, dirty, and taboo. I am a fan of any word that is able to provoke so many emotions.
Steve Martin: Well let me just say that the only way I'm gonna be on the farm this year is if I win tickets. And yeah, about Steve Martin.... I don't like him, at all actually. (And this should also answer g king's second question as well.)
Cigarettes: The short answer is 12-6-09.
Heroes: Buddha, Albert Einstein, George Harrison, Neil Young, FDR, Toni Morrison, and Sergey Brin & Larry Page.

I had not heard of these guys until I googled them a little while ago. But as a fan of the reverend, I can totally dig the rockabilly.
Have you ever had the pleasure of spending a night behind bars?
no but close... I was totally profiled on my way home from roo '08 but we were very cooperative and yes it paid off because I slept in my own bed that night. Never the less, I still had to stand in front of a judge, hire a lawyer, pay a ton of money, do community service, and 11/29 probation. So basically I still got to bend over and take it up the I mean, yes... I learned a very valuable lesson.

(5 musical. 5 nonmusical...with pictures) Ever broken a bone? How many? Which ones? Yogurt: fruit on the bottom or pre-mixed? What flavors do you prefer? How tall are you? I'm going to Arby's. Do you own any vinyl? If so, what were the first and last titles you bought? Any rarities? If not, why not? The only album I own on vinyl is the original Love Story soundtrack... isn't that lame? I used to be into vinyl in my preteen years and I loved to listen to my mom's old records and what not and I had several records that I occumulated including Meet the Beatles (for which I thought I was the shit) but I don't know what happened to any of those.
Who was your favorite band in middle school? The Beatles
What was the shittiest movie that you saw in a theater? Head of State.... thank god it was the dollar theater. I was sick at the time and I accidentally drank a 4oz bottle of hydro cough syrup and I made it through about half of the movie. Basically I paid a buck to take a nap.
Have you ever been vomited upon? ewww... no.
Do you have any major phobias? So cliche but I really hate spiders. I hate them so much so that I won't even kill one because I am afraid of spider guts going everywhere. I do not like anything that moves faster than me and those little mf'ers have eight legs. Also I have a fear of falling... not a fear of heights but a fear of falling. I have had two back surgeries so this probably stems from that.
Any known allergies? NKA
Ever been to a GWAR show before? Will you be attending at Roo? No and no... sorry to disappoint.
What movie, good or bad, have you seen the most times? American Beauty or Dumb & Dumber
What was the first album you bought for yourself? Alanis Morisette Jagged Little Pill.. and wore it out back in 1995.
What was the last album somebody bought for you? Thome Yorke's Eraser... wow that was a while ago but my friends know that I am anti buying music (I'll save you that rant).
Baklava? not so much.
Ever stagedived...stagedove....whatever? nope... kinda falls into that fear of falling category
Favorite alcoholic beverage? Liquor: SoCo Cocktail: LIT I like to show up to the bar and order one of each
Would you ever date someone with dreadlocks? Would you ever have dreadlocks? yes and I did back in 2006. I was a server and the resturaunt I was in closed down and it is kinda hard to land a job with dreads since I only had them for about 9 months, I brushed them out... I do NOT reccommend this.
Who are your top 10 celebrity crushes? (5 musical. 5 nonmusical...with pictures) I'm coming back to this one.
Ever broken a bone? How many? Which ones? I broke my pinky in a car accident when I was 10.
Yogurt: fruit on the bottom or pre-mixed? What flavors do you prefer? Fruit on the bottom, strawberry or peach.
How tall are you? 5'7"
I'm going to Arby's. What should I get for you? Arby's is my fav fast food place... I like the Italian sandwich and the turkey bacon ranch wrap.
Being a Knoxville girl, what are you 3 favorite bars/clubs? World Grotto The Carousel II Mirage aka the Cairo Cafe
Who is your favorite local band(s)? Christabel & the Jons, hands down.

If you were going to move to any state other than Knoxville, where would you move? I am guessing you mean city? To be honest, I have no clue. Aren't they all the same, really? Asheville maybe? I am traveling across the country this summer, I might be able to tell you then!
Any country other than the US? CANADA for SO many reasons!
What is your favorite Roo memory? Flaming Lips 2007. I was hanging out with my friend cid and I had no idea what I was in for.... best. surprise. ever. I can't believe my friends never told me what to expect, and I love them for that. Directly after that ended I rode the ferris wheel (ku-razy!) and then wondered over to Sasha and Digweed where I stayed and danced my ass off until 6am when I wondered back to BFE.
Runer up was actually during Metallica 08. I was wth my friend cid again and it was downpouring but luckily I was at camp because I am not a Metallica fan. Out of the midst of the rain these four people appear from seemingly no where. They came to our camp (completely dry ???) and introduce themselves as they were selling "beer sweaters". Crocheted beer koozies to that hang around your neck. My friends and I started cracking up immediately at their ridiculous merchandising scheme and we just could not stop. They were such great salesmen (and people in general) that we bought three... and NONE of us drink beer. I would give my left nut to find those Colorado fellas, we had such a good time together!
Me and one of the beer sweater hustlers:
Happy with my beer sweater and inforoo shirt:
When you worked in the UT Bookstore, did Debbie Crockett still work there? Sorry but I have no clue... I actually worked in the Pellissippi bookstore, same chain, different location.
I'll start with the usual (just to make kdogg happy ):
Why "superbek"?
I was waiting for this one...
When I was 13 I got my first computer... my bffs at the time and I created AIM screen names, there was superkel, superkat, and superbek and we are all in fact, very super. For me the name stuck and it has been my online alias for almost 13 years... everything I have ever done on the internet is attached to that name. My email address, all accounts, everything. If you see superbek anywhere there is a 98% chance it's me with the exception of superbek.com which I am going to buy someday for the right price... I need it when I graduate school for my online portfolio.
For the record, my real name is Rebekah.
and wow... I guess I am as long winded, egotistical, and self indulgent as kdogg.

Oops, it was still early in the day. I actually meant Tennessee, but you got the idea. (And from someone's who's lived in Beaver Dam, KY; Knoxville, TN; Atlanta, GA; and Carson City, NV, no, they are definitey not all the same.)
What time do you get up in the morning? Go to bed at night?

What's your favorite breakfast?
Do you have siblings?
good to know all cities are not the same, obviously, I have never left knox... which one of your destinations is your fav nbf?
1. I usually get up at 7:30a, go to bed between 1-2am.
2. Breakfast is my least favorite meal but last weekend I made an oatmeal casserole with brown sugar, pecans, and dried fruit bits... it was pretty bangin'.
3. I have four half siblings scattered across the country, all younger than me. I have met two of but that was 12 years ago when my father passed and they were only three and two years old. I am now connected to the two older ones on facebook. However I am the only child of both my mother and my father.

What was the last concert you went to? How was it? If you were going to try to impress someone by cooking them a meal, what would you make for them? What was the worst concert you ever went to? Would you prefer a chocolate cookie with peanutbutter chips or a peanutbutter cookie with chocolate chips? What's your favorite album of all time?
good to know all cities are not the same, obviously, I have never left knox... which one of your destinations is your fav nbf?
Have to go with Atlanta because there was so much to do and so much diversity. I like Carson so far, and I haven't lived here long enough to totally count it out as my favorite, but it's pretty much the opposite of Atlanta when it comes to both of those factors, so I can't see it taking Atlanta's place. However, I do really love the scenery here, and am blown away daily by how beautiful the mountains are, so that's definitely a point in Carson's favor.
(Those are our apartments in the bottom right corner.)
But this thread is not for me to answer questions:
What is your favorite Johnny Depp movie?
Do you shop at McKay's? (It's one of the things I most miss about Knoxville.)
What is the longest you've ever gone without sleep? Explain.
