Thanks for this thread. I am sober from alcohol 35 days and would love to meet up with folks for a meeting some morning. This will be my fourth roo.
I work in The Academy in Planet Roo and would love to say hi to sober friends if folks stop by there. If there really is a sober support venue inside Centeroo, I will absolutely seek it out.
I just like reading all of the threads on the board, even the ones that don't involve me.
Big ups to you guys BTW
Also, I'm not totally sure, but if you are thinking about meeting in Centeroo, see what time they open the gates to Centeroo. For some reason, I have it in my head that it was 11:30 or noon last year.
ok im going to step out and put a time and even put a new thread with this in it.
AA meeting 10:30am on friday. meet in front of the GENERAL STORE which is located outside of roo main gates. IF we want to have danish or something please voice that NOW. our tent will be near to the general store in access so we can meet there and go back to our tent or we can go into centeroo.
PLEASE respond if you want my number please PM me btw just to be clear..im not in recovery but i wont say anything of course...im just organizing it for my friend who is in recovery and who will be at my tent.
lets try to keep this thread bumped now that we have a time. if you dont like the time then change it but i want to make sure we catch people before we leave.

I did some research and sent some emails and got some replies.
From Camp Traction: There will be no official Camp Traction at Bonnaroo 2009. However there will be some sober folks camped at 1st Ave. & 1st St. (check fest. map for location) and possibly some others in family camping, if that's permissable by the festival.
From the Wharf Rats: There will be a huge presence at centeroo. Multiple sober fan groups combine. Look for the yellow balloons.
Today is 40 days, and I am celebrating by going to a 7am meeting before heading into Manchester to pick up my credentials and moving into guest camping.

I found the yellow balloons in Centeroo by the Sonic Stage in the big coffeehouse tent there. I'll stop by there at least once a day (in the morning) to remind myself & join a spontaneous meeting if there is one.
