They had their own tents set aside in Centeroo last year. It was right by the Sonic Stage. I chatted to some of the people there last year while watching Broken social scene.

thank you ris. roo is pretty dang fun without all the extas believe it or not. im not in recovery- but my camp mate is....and i feel i get more out of roo sober and sane - i still am able to totally get into the vibe of it all.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

maybe you want to contact superfly or something idk...cause like i said, it seemed to me that they had their own setup/tent/meeting place right in centeroo by the sonic stage. now as far as where the ppl camped or if they even stayed on site, i don't know. go to the information station when u get there and ask and you'll be pointed in the right direction i'm sure.

I've also heard that groups like the Wharf Rats make a presence known at 'roo and try to help people out who need it during the fest. I'm not in recovery but i work at a drug and alcohol clinic. Nothing will make chemicals seem less appealing than dealing with the worst cases on a day to day basis...

My brother has been sober since October with the help of AA (and house arrest). It's instilled a newfound respect in me for folks in AA and NA. God bless you and all my good vibes to you for staying strong.

^^^^^
it took me many trips to rehab to finally admit that I don't know anything. it's amazing how stuff works when you give up and ask for help and actually use the advice that is given.
wow this is so exciting!!!!!! we could meet inside centeroo (or we meaning you i guess). its not that busy in the morning. or we could try and meetup at our tent which would be close to centeroo in "accessible" area. that way we could provide water etc i could pick up some danish so that we (you) could have brunch.
