We are staying in Cookeville after Phish in Knoxville. What is the best route to the farm from here. How long will it take using the back highways. Thanx
from cookeville, take the livingston/ sparta exit (i think it is hwy 70) and go toward mcminnville. from there take hwy 55 to manchester. all together it about an hour drive.

What hotel are you staying at in Cookeville? I'm pretty sure that the easiest way is to take Hwy 111. You can get there by getting off of Exit 290 (Exit with Knights Inn). You will go right when you exit (if traveling E on I-40 towards Knoxville). It should take you straight to the entrance to Bushy Branch road if I remember from my drive from last year. Levus will know for sure and the best route. Check with him.

i just looked and we are both correct. 111 becomes 70 and then 55. its a straight shot down. its exit 288 if that helps.

i stayed at the key west inn in cookeville in 06 and 07 to meet up with friends coming in from different parts of the country so we could all get in line together thursday a.m. just around an hour is right, in 06 we were able to come right into manchester and make the left towards the farm...but in 07 we were redirected onto 24 East for a million miles then snaked in through some back roads for roughly 8 hours. that sucked
