I just got an email saying they are gonna try and open the gates earlier than expected this year. I'm working for a company that deals with kinda thing and they told me to be ready at 5 AM Just thought I'd pass the word along...
So - that would be 5 a.m. on Wednesday then?? Since they normally end up opening the gates on Wednesday evening anyway?
I'm guessing they mean 5 A.M. on Thursday. Even though they open up the gates late wednesday it's not the "official" time they open up. I'm guessing they will announce 5 a.m. Thursday and "unofficially" start letting people in Wednesday afternoon/evening.

Just curious as to how the camping works. I think that our carload should be arriving around 12 in the afternoon, so is it the earlier you arrive the closer to centeroo you are, or is it the later you arrive the closer you are?

They fill in the outer BFE camping first, so , the earlier you arrive, the further from centeroo you'll be. Thur. afternoon is optimum IMO.

Agreed with most of this, but I've arrived on Thrusday afternoon twice now and been camped in COMPLETELY different places, so it is a bit of a crapshoot.

There's no set rules for the parking really. If one entrance/lot gets filled up they switch. Most decisions are being made on the fly. It's pretty much luck

your right on the ball. I had friends leave from Murf last year late wed night. they were one of the very first thru the gate but literaly the farthest away from centaroo. Becasue VIP is getting bigger and bigger every year...

No one really know whats where/how they fill the camps. I was in last year around 9pm on Wednesday and was in the bottom right corber of the map at Pod 1, about a 10-20 min walk to Centeroo at most.
