I was going to ride down with a friend but it looks like if I chose to still come to 'Roo I will be riding down solo. I'm a bit put-off by the all night ride from Pittburgh to Manchster on no sleep and even more put-off by the ride from TN back to Buffalo, NY, but has anyone ever camped alone down there? What are your thoughts on tent-only, too?
I like to be right with my car to keep my shit locked up, but if I plan on meeting up with any of the few people I know heading down there, I might be best off parking far away and just hiking over to there tent. But really, how much fun is this whole thing if you are on your own? Never gone solo and I don't see a whole heck of a lot of groups on the schedule that I'm dying to see.
I already have a (free) ticket but I can't quite decide if it is worth the hassle of driving down there, you know? Thoughts.
I prefer to camp alone; make new friends and no schedule conflicts. Everyone is very friendly and unless you're totally introverted, you'll meet your neighbors and make friends at every show. It's an easy decision. I say come.
this is my first bonnaroo (as well as first time camping on my own); and i am choosing to go it alone. it's 4 days of music, art and people...even if you drive alone, you're not really there alone. i bet you'll have a super awesome time, andrew. ...of course, if you decide not to go, i can find a home for your free ticket!
I think this year's lineup is AWESOME! ***I'm very proud to see EMINEM get top billing*** Traveling solo and looking forward to soaking up the sun, music, fresh air and happy people! ***Can't wait to meet you!***

I'm camping solo as well so I will hang out with anyone else that is camping alone. PM me and we meet up at camp inforoo and figure out what shows people would like to go to as a group. I plan on making lots of new friends this year, and since I am not stuck with my lame ex fiancé, it would be nice to make a lady friend ; )
