Most, if not all of the food and beer is cash only. I think the official merch tent takes cards(someone correct me if I'm wrong). Don't know about the little side vendors in Centeroo, I'd assume they'd only take cash too.
Best to have plenty of cash on hand. If you go to the ATM's on Thursday or Friday or even early Sat. I'd think you should be fine. That's what I've done and have never had a problem.

I've never had an issue with ATM access and from what I remember the service charges are pretty similar to what's charged in bars. I believe that the non-food vendors in Centeroo often accept credit cards. Probably not all of them but most. (A lot of them have a couple of big ticket items which can run into tripple digits.)

if you want to avoid any extra fees/charges for getting your money, take it out from your bank before you go.
also, some banks automatically flag or otherwise monitor accounts that have a lot of withdrawals suddenly made out of state, so if you're going to be using a debit card or whatever, it might be wise to tell your bank you're on a multi-day trip out of state or crossing several states.

Get cash out before you go. Keep what you don't need each day locked in your car somewhere out of sight and take what you think you'll need for the day plus a little more, just in case

I seem to remember the atm service charges being more than your average bar or gas station. I think I payed 8 dollars to take out 60, something like that, but I wouldn't swear to a specific number. Cash is where it's at anyway....if you lose it, it sucks, but no worries. I won't carry a card into centeroo.

I just went back and looked at bank statement - I only paid $2.50 per transaction to take out money. and then my bank popped me $1.50 - so that's really not all that bad-

i wish i got paid on wednesday night, but alas i get paid on thursday nights with direct deposit... so i'm most definitely hitting up the atm for some cash if i think i'll need it by friday before noon.
Just get your money in large chunks, say $100 at a time instead of $20, and you'll at least mitigate the extra charges.

there arent any (working) atms outside of centeroo, so if you get there early on thursday, have cash. last year we couldnt get in until like 5. had enough to get by but it could have been alot worse.
They will have to have Centeroo open around noon on Thursday this year -- there are acts scheduled (Cafe, etc.) around one on Thursday. Actually, I thought that they usually open it at noon on Thursday...
