E: While I'm here I just signed up for the Gimme Metal Vinyl Club which I've successfully stayed away from. Next months Darkthrone had a different idea, apparently.

I'm curious if I should do this or just buy some cheap particle board and tack it on the back. The fact everything isn't flush is causing my obsessive-compulsive to kick in.
Also: non vinyl related but I ordered my "office" furniture today. I'm so close to being done.

Depends on how many shelfs you have i guess. You can buy 1/2" sheet of MDF for $25 and cut a lot from that.
not vinyl related but i moved my LSR305s from behind me to my desk. these sound fantastic wherever but they are intend to be run near-field so they sound really great like this.
only issue is my desk used to look pretty clean but now there are wires and shit everywhere. need to do some cable management.

I've had my turntable hooked up to my Edifier 1280t's since I moved into my current place. I saw a pair of vintage floor standing speakers, Infinity SM125's in near perfect condition (a few cabinet scratches) for $150 ($50 more than I paid for the Edifiers.) My little duplex is currently shaking and I'm grinning from ear to ear. Will try to get a picture up soon. Neighbors are going to hate me.
Genesis Owusu's new record is selling for $50 on his site. jaw dropping price for an indie debut without bells and whistles (just black wax even!). does that mean one day it's going to be like $100+ or is it just like $30 worth of dead weight

a few weeks late on this, but looks cool:
Spiritualized and Fat Possum Records are proud to announce the first stage of The Spaceman Reissue Program: definitive vinyl releases of the first four Spiritualized albums. Curated by J Spaceman, the series will kick off April 23 with Spiritualized’s classic 1992 debut, Lazer Guided Melodies.
