Her website lists it as Amber and then the indie shops are selling Gold. Weird thing is both images of the record look the same which hopefully isnt how it turns out. I did buy that one direct from her shop although wasnt to pleased on $10 shipping. There are a lot of NIN fans who have lighter wallets because of all the diff vinyls. Except they were very upset at the cover reveal because it was too pretentious of a video lol.

Had a birthday celebration yesterday and my family got me a rare original pressing of You're a Woman, I'm a Machine, which is about as nice a gift as anyone could possibly ever give me.

Just got a delivery from Third Man for two 7" singles I half forgot about because one was a pre-order. The other, a Beck single recorded with Jack White and TMR people (basically some Raconteurs/Dead Weather folks plus Fats Kaplin), was one that I had thought I already had but must have not gotten originally. Every now and then they tweet about items being back in stock and I jumped on this and the Glitch Mob Remix "Seven Nation Army" pre-order
UPS almost gave me hope that universal messed up and sent me the deluxe edition of Almost Famous. Tracking info said my item was 13lbs. Seems it was a typo. :/

Discogs and late night browsing is bad for me. I look up an artist to verify that I don't have some release or album of theirs and then I start browsing the 7" singles and end up buying a few. I need to stop. I have too many.
7"s just don't really appeal to me to buy. I have a bunch of my mom's/grandparents but they're such a burden to place because the the size difference when in the shelves.
there's definitely a bunch that have come out/have always been there that I would probably enjoy but I just don't know what I'd do with them

Yeah I’ve only ever gotten a handful of 7”s that weren’t passed down to me, mostly RSD exclusives. I only listen to them when someone else asks to go through my 45s and pulls something out
I’ve got some killer Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, and Roger Daltrey solo singles from my mom’s collection though...

I tend to focus on getting from the handful of bands I really like and have most/all of their albums. I've really enjoyed some of the Vampire Weekend, Dr. Dog, Cold War Kids, Felice Brothers, MMJ, and Deer Tick singles/EPs. Especially when the songs aren't released anywhere else. I've got a ton of Third Man Records ones from Vault Packages and just trying to collect the various Jack White bands and then a small box or two of bands I Like, stuff I've been given, and some random shit like RSD releases or comedy stuff (South Park, Cheech & Chong).
I don't always go to them to play when listening but the times that I do and I am reminded of some songs that I haven't heard in a long while I really enjoy having them.

One of the first genres of music I truly got in to was based on the 45 format. It was obviously cheaper and easier to do yourself than waiting for a label to do it for you. I still have those and quite proud of them. You’re also looking at bands that released a 10” or one sided (or split with another band)12” as an alternate to putting out a full album.
These days, I couldn’t imagine adding more 45’s but I definitely understand why people do. If done right, it should be killer.

I belong to Vinylmnky and receive the breakthrough album of the month. I have enjoyed their selections over the last year or so. Black Puma’s self titled signed album, Maya Hawke’s debut album.
This one is smooth and soulful and produced by Dan Auerbach. Check it out.

Scored Eternal Sunshine and Beasties on the 10am online sales. After seeing that people started lining up at Amoeba yesterday at around 6pm it was kind of pointless to go and wait.
Can't believe it took me this long to find this thread. Hope everyone got most of what they wanted from this RSD drop. I was lazy and woke up late so I grabbed St. Paul from the list then got Modern Vampires of the City and a Merle Haggard's Greatest Hits thing and called it a day.
The only records I got yesterday were Aretha Franklin’s Oh Me Oh My and John Martyn’s Church with One Bell. The only two I wanted. I have been wanting this John Martyn album on vinyl for a long time.

Have you listened the other band he’s in? Durand Jones and the Indications, super fun
