Add Rina Sawayama, Flatbush Zombies, Moses Sumney, and The Neptunes to that list for me
Not something I'm prepared to drop $160 on, but if I were a bigger Metallica fan I would. I'll definitely seek out a rip of it if it's not made available for streaming

their web site says it will be available for streaming september 10.
i'm still not sure what if any of these i will order. i tend not to buy big heavy box sets anymore, particularly when they are full of music i'll probably listen to once. and i already have all the metallica original pressings (except st. anger). but the black album original mix never sounded great to me, wondering if ludwig will breathe some life into it. might just buy the vinyl only release. for the cover album i'm not sure what i'll do. i don't think these metallica releases tend to sell out quickly. this is incorrect, they sell out quickly, see GL post below.

I have the first 3 and they all sold out in a few days. I hesitated on Kill ‘Em All and ended up having to buy it second hand later down the line.
That said, I probably won’t be picking this up as I don’t really care too much about the Black Album and already own the regular version of it. If you’re on the fence though, get it. The ones I have are fucking classy and way over the top done. Totally worth it and glad I bought it.

Did the Knife do a Deep Cuts reissue or something recently? I know they just announced one for Silent Shout but it sold out immediately sadly.
Yes, Deep Cuts got reissued 2 weeks ago. But the rub is that it was on their store just like Silent Shout and is way overpriced since its in pounds. Uk record stores got their pre orders up last week and its at least reasonable, you have to pay out the ass for international shipping. Theyre both out in early August if im right and theyll easily be in domestic stores at that time. Funny thing was I felt cursed buying these recently. I found and bought a copy of Silent Shout and the next day the reissue was announced. I did the same for Deep Cuts so of course the next day they announced.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Just came in today. I ordered the day after you posted this, so was too late to get the clear version, but emailed them right after I ordered asking for a clear one if they had any left once everyone that ordered on time got theirs. And, they sent me the clear version! I thought that was very nice of them.

I’d check your local bars. If you come across any wine boxes those are usually more fortified than normal boxes. Just make sure to take a tape measure.
This week. And if anyone ever is shopping on ebay, have some patience with the shop moviemars. Bought 2 things from them and it took almost 3 weeks. Seems that shipping from North Carolina takes an extra week of shipping time vs Kentucky for some reason.
Had a feeling it was gonna be tour exclusive when they teased it. Brooklynvegan is going to sell copies also but not specified how many theyll have.
EYEWTKAS comes on cyan vinyl, Worship And Tribute on magenta, and the live album on yellow, and they will only come all together as a three-piece vinyl set (not separately).
mine ended up looking cooler than I thought it would but I wish I would've waited for the 2nd round of bootlegs, the levitation ones are so much prettier

I've been browsing Kallax cube hacks and other DIY ideas with them. It started with me looking for other media storage as I'm trying to find space for all my blu rays/box sets and soon will need some space for albums/box set vinyl.
I love physical media but am running out of space. I also need to try selling a ton of old DVDs that I don't need anymore.
Anyway....i'm excited to get either some kind of tall shelf/storage thing for movies and records or get some kallax shelf and do some shit to it (lights, counter top, maybe wheels).
