I know there's been a thread about this...but the search function blows. Anyone else think they're going to add some screens to the Which Stage? There are some massive sets there this year: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, David Byrne, TV on the Radio, not to mention Nine Inch Nails. It would be the single best improvement they could make in my opinion. Lolla has screens on 4 stages, Coachella has them on at least two...c'mon Bonnaroo! You can do it too!

Even if they weren't huge.........the which stage would benefit greatly from screens on either side. I think we would have heard an announcement already so I doubt it will happen this year. It does seem to be high up on the "Roo-Goer Wishlist" so i'm sure Superfly knows a lot of people want this. I wouldn't be surprised if it were added soon but I'm thinking this year aint the year.

Seriously, in the grand scheme of improvements to Bonnaroo, this is something that isn't extremely costly and would provide a major benefit to ALL Roo fans. It's actually pretty ridiculous that they don't have them when you think about Lolla and ACL that have at least one screen on EVERY stage, even the smaller ones

I definitely expect that this is on the to-do list, but I don't know about this year. Maybe, though - there's been a lot of changes going on since they bought the farm (um, literally) so I don't think they're necessarily announcing everything. Some screens at Which would definitely be a nice surprise!
Ok someone help me out here. From what I remember of the FLIPS in 07 there was a screen on the Which stage. It is where it said 1, 2, 3, Point them at Wayne!!! for the laser pointers. Am I right or did I imagine that?

You are definitely right, but the Flips brought the screen themselves, much like the UFO, it's merely just a part of their stage set up.
With that being said, screens at the which stage would be a much needed benefit (not that I need them, I'm 6'4'', it's just for the small person behind me to finally shut up about me blocking their view, lol).

They had their own screen behind them as part of their set.
Please put up screens.... and for next year... add some speakers in the lawn, and haul in some dirt and make a gentle slope down towards the stage... put something to block the sound at the back on top of said hills..... viola!!!

^^^ I can't imagine NIN not having screens.... that show is gonna be a clusterf**ck with the huge number of people going to it in that small, confined space.... it's going to be wild, man...

You are wrong, ACL does not have screens at every stage. Only the 4 big ones have them.
NIN won't have screens. Why would they haul it around for a month before 'Roo just to use it once? Like dawnofman said, this tour is stripped down. Don't expect them to bring screens.

I'm not saying they will have a screen........but they wouldn't have to "haul it around for a month". It could easily be shipped to Roo or they could arrange something ahead of time.
I just don't see it happening. Trent funded the entire Lights in the Sky tour by himself with no extra money from a label or anything. I don't see him bringing in screens or anything just for Bonnaroo. Don't get me wrong, it'd be badass to have the setup for the LITS tour for their 'Roo set. But they'd have to come up with visuals for each song, and the majority of these songs on this tour weren't played on the last tour, so pre-existing visuals aren't in Sheridan's Mac or whatever.
I honestly do hope I'm wrong, though. All things considered, this will be my last NIN show (or ever?) before they cease to exist. Unless that LA shows happens. Regardless, though. It'll be badass with or without the screens.

If it's considered the second main stage, there should definitely be screens there. And they should do something about the awful sound bleed while they're at it!

Even if NIN brought screens, they wouldn't be big screens hanging on either side of the stage ala the What Stage. That takes too much time to set up and mount, I'm sure. And I'm not even going to that show, I want screens for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, David Byrne, Mars Volta, etc. It's a must have!
Also, I've seen some photos from this years NIN tour. No screens anymore, it's just strobe lights.
