husband how a huge blister on our daily walks and now i'm paranoid he will get another at roo. i can't imagine using it as a preventative. how would you know where you will get blister?
I used it very successfully as a preventive when I was ballroom dancing. If you feel your shoe starting to rub somewhere, slap some moleskin (I like molefoam better in some cases, though, for the cushion effect) right there to prevent any more damage to your skin. If you have shoes that rub in one place but are otherwise comfortable, you already know where you're likely to get a blister and can wear 'em without worry.
Well, there are areas that are more likely to blister, like on the back of the heel. Also, you can feel a blister coming on. At the first tinge of discomfort, I would certainly put some on. I have some in my bonnapile now.
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
It is a post blister thing, it is really hard to skin a mole though. Those things are tiny.
Derp.... I lol'ed. Points for that.
Moleskin is both pre/post blister. When you start getting hotspots on, say, the side of your big toe or something, toss a strip on. Friction now rubs on the moleskin, not YOUR skin.
