This being the 40th anniversary of the most historic rock & roll festival, I'm wondering if there will be any acknowledgment by the Bonnaroo organizers, or by artists in general? I'm hoping for a early showing of Ang Lee's movie, "Taking Woodstock," which is not officially scheduled for release until August. A Woodstock-themed Super Jam would be cool.
Unless Wikipedia doesn't list everyone that played at the original, no one at Bonnaroo this year was at the original. If you're counting the 2 Woodstock's after that, then quite a few (i'm sure) were there. I know NIN was at the '94 version.
NIN was at the '94 version, while Elvis Costello, Erykah Badu and Snoop Dogg were at the '99 version.

It would be cool to do something, although I don't know exactly what that would be. I would NOT argue with an early screening of "Taking Woodstock"! I'm soooo excited for that movie.
The first time I went to Roo was the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love. And if I make it this year it's the 40th anniversary of Woodstock...how cool is that?!
