Man I wish I had known about these sooner. I'm posting for all of those people like me who hate wearing straw type hats and somehow manage to burn even with sun block on. My neck and face are always the worst, so I consider this 20 bucks well spent.
Features:
* Horizon 100% nylon textured weave fabric with UPF 30. * The North Face® logo embroidered on the front. * Adjustable nylon webbing with clip closure. * Quick drying; perfect for hiking, backpacking or adventure travel. * Removable sun flap.
Could also just put a towel on your head and a hat on top, or safety pin a towel or piece of fabric to a normal hat.
Now that you say that, I remember my Dad unfolding a bandana, getting it sopping wet, slapping in on the back part of his balding head, and then putting a baseball cap on. Of course, when I was a kid, I was mortified when he did this. Now it makes so much sense. Love you Dad!
