Someone a while ago showed me some waterproof paper and it just occurred to me that it would be perfect for printing up 'roo schedules as regular paper will disintegrate due to sweat, rain or both. I looked around locally and all I could find was waterproof inkjet paper at the local hiking shop which didn't help me as I only have a laser printer and the paper said specifically NOT to use in laser printers. So I looked around and came across Rite in the Rain Copier Paper which is also good for laser printers. Couldn't find it locally, ordered it from Trail Explorers; tinyurl.com/nlttoe (BTW got it quick, ordered Thurs w/ regular shipping, got following Mon) and all I can say is that this stuff rocks! Feels almost like regular paper, slightly more plastically, printed fine and the stuff really is waterproof! Held it under the sink for a minute, wiped it off and it was like it never got wet. The stuff I got is for lasers and copiers only, they make an inkjet version, I have no idea how that stuff is. Just wanted to let everyone know, might be good for printing schedules. Wasn't too expensive, 25 sheets for $10, 200 sheets for $28. Depending on when you read this, not to late to get some for 'roo. [disclamer: I know I've been raving about it, but I don't have any financial interest in this, no paid shilling, no affiliate links, etc.]

Oh that's awesome! I was wondering if anything like that existed for a little idea I had....the idea morphed into something else so I don't really need waterproof paper for that anymore, but it's still good to know! Thanks for sharing!
very cool. i was thinking of laminating, or if i can find one of my old vip-pass neck lanyard things i could glue it closed after, but waterproof paper is way cooler.
I buy small notebooks from Army Supply stores that are used for mapping. They are gridded, but the paper and notebook itself is waterproof. Especially if you use ink, the stuff is permanent. I use them for Photojournalism assignments so that I can miss nothing. Bonnaroo scheduling seems like a fine purpose as well.
