Hey! I need some help. Me and the hubby are coming from Memphis, TN and my brother and sister-in law are coming from Knoxville, TN . We plan on meeting up Thursday around 11 am or so. Question is where? Should we meet in Tullahoma or possibly Murfreesboro? We want to drive in together so we can camp together I don't want my b-in law getting stuck in traffic or anything. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again, Lynzee
I would love an answer to this too. My brother and I are coming in different cars from around Knoxville, and we needed a meeting place in case we got separated on the drive there. Is the Wal-Mart too close to the Farm to avoid getting mired in tons of traffic?
I was thinking it may be to hard to try to meet inside of Machester especially on Thursday. Tullahoma appears to only be like 10-15 minutes from Manchester so maybe there would bbe good. I am gonna keep checking back to see if omeone has a suggestion. I think we wil figure it out though!
If you're coming from Knoxville and thru Chattanooga, I'd meet at the BIG fireworks store that's right before you go up Monteagle mountain. It's HUGE and you can't miss it.
If you're coming down I-40 from Knox and Memphis I'd meet in M'boro at I-24, Exit 78A (Hwy 96-Franklin). You can meet at Kroger, get gas, alcohol, ice, etc. The people from Knox can take 840 to I-24, missing Nashville and it's the 2nd Exit once they're on I-24.
Tullahoma is a ways off the Interstate so I wouldn't meet there.
^^ I would agree with Walmart if you're getting there Wed night. But getting to Walmart Thursday would be waaaaay too much hassle
Yea that's probably true. I've never tried....Usually get to Walmart Wednesday night. I imagine the line to get there would be backed up with Roo-goers.
wal-mart if you're meeting on wednesday...waffle house if you're meeting thursday, there's one like right off I-24 near the farm. that's what we did at least!

I appreciate it. Thanks for the tip about Tullahoma thats definitely out. Im thinking either Murfreesboro or the firework stor. Really appreciate all yalls help and will see yall at Bonnaroo!! Thanks again!!
The fireworks store is probably a good bit out of the way for someone from Memphis. Plus you'd have to pass Roo, fight that traffic and turn around and go back (unless you take HWY 64 from Memphis to Chatt and come up I-24 and that's a loooong trip)
For people meeting fron Knox and Mem, M'boro would be best. Maybe a tad longer for the Knox crew but not that much (maybe 20 miles).
