So I'm all about partying hard, but I also want to stop by a Catholic church on Sunday morning (which I know will be tough after being at a concert until 4AM). Anybody go from camp to a nearby church before? Did you hire a taxi service? I'm afraid it'll take too long to leave the camp with our car and come back in to the day parking lot for the rest of the festivities.
St. Mark's Catholic Church is right on Hwy 55 very close to Roo (according to Google). Mass at 4:30pm Sat and 10:30am Sun.
It would be tough getting out of your camp site and might be quicker to walk (looks like a couple miles). Or call the parish. I bet they'd find someone to pick you up at the gate.
Good luck

Very good info... too bad they don't have a Catholic service on site on the farm... there are probably a few of us who would attend. good suggestion for future years. Thanks for the info on St. Mark's. Do you think the congegants would be insultant if some "smelly" visitors attended?
being a recovering catholic..they probably will care..however with the basis of the religion being jesus..i dont know how many showers he really had taken while being the savior..so i would go and have your words with God and not let people judge..or you and your friends could just read the bible sunday morning and have your own mass for an hour and do your best to start the week off fresh..id take the second option..good luck
