On the upper right side of the map. Anyone here ever use this to enter? I cant imagine it being as crowded as the Interstate entrance tollbooth or the west Bushy Branch tollbooth. Im just curious about the thursday wait times vs. the other 2 entrances.
I used it in '07. I was headed north from Georgia and they routed us off the Interstate at exit 127 and onto some back roads. After we finally made it to the line, it was probably less than an hour wait to get on to the farm. This was 9-10am Thursday, if you wondered.
edit: And for a little more information... they were routing people off at the same exit last year, but I took a different route since I was staying at my cousin's house in Manchester, rather than camping. So, if you want to come in that way, exit 127 is probably your best bet. The cops and signs will point you in the right direction from there.

We got redirected to that toll booth in 2006 when we tried to exit off of 24 and get back on 24 to get in line. When we did it was only about a half hour wait to get in. But, we ended up camped in 76. - Cleo McDowell which was about a 40 minute walk to Centeroo. So, short line in for a long walk or long line in for a roll of the dice. Take your pick.
Thanks good people! I will probably get there around noon on thursday but I will be going to day parking. The remaing days are never a big deal going to day parking.
Pull up the area on google Earth of some other map. The road you see on the Roo site map heading north from this tollbooth is Shed rd. You can get to this road by taking Ragsdale or Taylor off of Mcminnville Hwy (55) which is just to the North.
Is there any way to get there exzcept from Exit 127? If not it is a long detour if your coming from the direction of Nashville.
The only time I went that way was '03 when I was forced to. 6-7 hour wait and the furthest from Centeroo I've ever been.
But that was 6 years ago so who knows.
Oh yeah, they made my sis come in that way in '04 and she was way in the back of BFE. (for what that's worth.)
Oh, and I was way in BFE when I came in this way also. So, it will get you onto the farm fast... but you'll probably be about as far back as possible.
As for routes to get there from the north, the easiest would probably be to get off the interstate and onto Highway 41 at somepoint. Take that south through Manchester, then take a left on Asbury Rd. a little past the interstate. Then left on Clifton Scott Rd., left on Cornelison Rd, left on Bushy Branch, then follow it in.

Ok so if I am coming from the North, it is likely I will be routed down Bushy Branch like I was in 2006 right? They had exit 111 (By Beans Creak Winery) closed off. We had a 30-40 minute walk to Centeroo and it sucked....
If that is the case, would it be a good idea to stay on 24 and go down to exit 117 and turn around so I can go into the temporary exit 112 in the hope of camping closer?

I took this exact route the last 2 years. Both times got the same campsite in BFE. And I mean BFE. We got there around 3 on Thursday, though. Not doing it again.
i think i got routed to this this year and i was thinking what the hell im so far away from roooo!. but you could see the what stage from the main road only a 5 minute walk from my camp and i was only in like for about a half an hour.

We went this way off of exit 127 and I'll never do it again. We waited 4.5 hours and got parked in BFE. We hauled all our shit to tent only which was about a 35 minute walk.

yeh I second that! I was in line for like 4.5 hours and got put in the campsite right next to the church wherever the hell that is lol. I was by myself so I had to pay out of my butt for a taxi since I went to camp inforoo. Was not a pleasurable experience either cuz when I was trying to look for camp inforoo it was down pouring so I got compeletly soaked! Definetly never doing that again unless im forced too.
