Hey, sorry if this has been covered before. I'm going down to Bonnaroo this year with two other people, one of whom is six months pregnant. This will be her first year at Bonnaroo and she's been kind of scared about getting put into BFE and having to deal with those 30 minute walk horror stories we all know and love. She doesn't know whether or not she can handle that. So, the question is, is it possible to be put into accessible camping due to pregnancy? Thanks a lot, guys.
I'm not sure about the accessibilty thing, but if all else fails, she can pay 5 bucks and have one of those golfer-taxis drive her to Centeroo.
She's a brave, brave woman going to Bonnaroo in her state. I just couldn't imagine (and I've been preggers before)! What a story to tell later in life.

Oh yeah, I forgot all about the taxis. I didn't go last year. Hopefully, they'll be easy enough to find, just in case.
And yeah, she's pretty brave for doing this one. I've been prepping her as much as I can on what she can expect, but honestly, I don't think she'll have a clue until she gets down there and finds out for herself. She knows it won't be a walk in the park, but she refuses to miss being in the same place as Phish/The Mars Volta. That's super commitment.
i went in 07 5 months preggers and really had no problem. It was a long walk, but just make sure she drinks a lot of water... that is key, especially since she is pregnant. If you want to camp in accessible camping you will need a handicap placard or she should talk to her MD to get the temporary placard.. then she will have to email bonnaroo ( it is on the website) to get permission. Honestly though, I really had no problems.. I was pregnant with my 3rd child in 05 bonnaroo and 4th child in 07... I think this will be my first Roo not pregnant! Wow! now that is something to look forward to!

I was pregnant last year but unaware at the time haha. We were out in super BFE, so it was about a 30 minute walk. The walk sucked, but what was worse was the rickety wood decks that had built. They weren't very secure, and a lot of people slipped and fell when they got wet after rain showers and such.
I'm not sure about the accessability camping either.. the best bet would be to try to get there at a good time and hope you get a good spot!
I saw the taxis and a few of my friends took them, but it's $5 one way, and I didn't want to spend $40 over the weekend on getting ferried around so I just sucked up the walk.
But yeah, being 6 months pregnant and doing roo? She's got bigger non-existant balls than most men haha. Good luck and I hope you guys have fun!
Laura at access.bonnaroo.com is who you need to email but I am willing to bet that she will tell you - no placard - no access. However - your friend should call her OB and explain the situation and the potential for being put in a camp 30 min away and ask if he would be willing to sign the form for a temporary placard.
