I'm flying to and from Nashville - taking the shuttle Thursday morning but need to leave Sunday to catch a 5 p.m. flight home. Shuttle doesn't run on Sunday. Are there taxis? How much would one cost? Any other options?
If anyone is leaving early Sunday, I can vouch for genghisnyc...he's a friend who needs to get back for work and won't make 'Roo if he can't hitch a ride Sunday afternoon. Hope you'll help if you're able!
Im in the same boat - Id need to get there at 5 as well. maybe we can coordinate. That being said I dont have a ticket yet and still have a few things to arange, but this is one of them, so please let me know what you find out!

Seems like if you can all get together and call a cab, split between 4 of you would not be too bad I usually leave on Sunday night but not until much later sorry.

ok as you all know by now..this is my 1st trip....you say there will be taxi's there on Sunday that will take you to the airport?? I'm willing to split a taxi but i will be leaving way early as in like 6 am. i just wanted to be sure a taxi would be there regardless...i don't care that its 100 bucks for me to go by myself.

I am sure you could call one of the local cab companies and ask one to be there at a certain time. I can get you local numbers of the ones who frequent the airport if you need them.

Are there taxi's? My friend needs to get to nashville airport on sunday morning and does not want to have to rent a car to sit for 4 days. taking a cab has to be cheaper than renting a car, right?
There is a Greyhound station 1 mile from the farm and will take you to Nashville for about 20 bucks and there are 2 rides during the day (i think early morning and afternoonish), I think the Nashville greyhound station is about 7 miles from the airport though so plan to take a cab from there.

The greyhound station is a great idea! and Jennifer I'll pass your email on to my friend if he decides to go that route. It sounds like a lot of people will be leaving sunday so he really does not need to rent a car. Thanks everyone!
do you think it is necessary to head back to nashville from the Greyhound station near the farm? or do you think there will be a way to either walk (god help me) or catch a ride towards the entrance or even just the wal-mart (looks like the bus will arrive at 8:30am)?
