I'm getting over being sick this year and I'm carting along a small pharmacy of cough medicines, antibiotics, and all sorts of crap. I'm wondering what the guys at centeroo say to this? I will have ID on me to prove the prescriptions are mine, I'm only worried about the cough syrup which is narcotic and the OTC stuff...do they give any problems about that stuff?

I don't think they should hassle you too much. The majority of people doing the searching were pretty cool as long as you didn't bring glass & other prohibited items. If you were an unlucky vehicle to get a police search though you might have to deal with a little crap, but I think the overall you should be fine!
I hope you start feeling a little better before Roo! Maybe some internet karma will help!
I've never had a problem with my prescriptions and I am on about 4 of them. Always bring OTC stuff also - just in case and have not had a problem either - keep in mind tho - the heat can be rough on medications. always a good idea to seal them in a plastic bag and keep them in your cooler if you keep the cooler in the car

Bring the prescrition bottles or original containers with you just in case, even if you carry them in one of those weekly pill scheduler things. It's not likely, but I have heard of security on the way into the farm giving people shit over their meds and threatening to not let them inside. I'm sure it's just a case of the individual security dude being a dick, but it's better to be perpared and not have to hassle with it.
sounds good...thanks for the quick responses all! I should probably be totally better by the time I leave but I'm not leaving it to chance...gotta keep taking antibiotics till thursday anyway. If I start coughing up a storm, it sounds like a I am dying...and trust me I'd rather have my scrip and be able to groove at phish then annoy everyone around me with the death cough.
I have 4 prescriptions and all in my name too...Doctors orders, ya know? What can they say..."I'm not going to be able to take my medication that the DOCTOR ordered??" And risk dying?? just kidding...

I have a really bad back and all the walking, standing at 'roo kills me, so I always carry my pain meds with me, just in case. Just be sure to have them in the original bottles and bring your id. You'll be fine!
I don't like bringing my bottles as I only bring the meds I'll need during Roo. I'm afraid the heat will ruin my whole 90 day supply.
I put my meds in one of those plastic cases (just like the old fart that I am) and bring my prescription receipts or med sheets from the pharmacy. Never had a problem with that.
I've been a Type 1 diabetic for 41 years. Needless to say, I take a lot of prescription meds, fistfuls. Last year I was asked to present prescriptions for the insulin and syringes I use. After looking at the 'scripts and my driver's license, security let me pass no problem. Here's what I use everyday; See: www.flickr.com/photos/63108152@N00/535813968/sizes/l/

Yeah, that's what I do. It also helps me remember what day it is.
