Ok. I'm getting frantic now. I've been asking people if they would just take me into roo from Wal Mart. No one has answered, so now I have to ask this.
Is it possible to just walk in with your ticket? Looking at the map, can my parents drop me off at Exit 112, and I can walk to tent only? Is that possible?
Also, if you haven't seen my desperate calls for help, I really do need someone to take me into roo if this doesn't work.
EDIT: this is my first roo, so I have no idea, how anything works.
I bet if you meet up with the camp inforoo peeps at Wal Mart you will be able to find a ride for sure. Yes you can also walk in, I did last year. If your parents are dropping you off just get them to drop you off close to Roo and you can definitely walk in no problem, it will be quite a walk to tent only though if I remember correctly.

You can definitely walk in but please learn from my mistake my first roo:
-Sunscreen! -shoes that are broken in/ will not give you blisters -I would recommend a good shade hat too.
It is a long walk and you don't want to get an unnecessary head start on sunburn and blisters.
I am driving straight in from the north Thurs. am or I would be able to help you out. I don't think you will have a problem hitching a ride from walmart if you don't have a ton of stuff (i.e. if people can fit your stuff in their car).
we are coming in through the first exit coming from nashville. actually we will come through manchester town and across the interstate and then into roo. we are going to come in around 6am (and wait for it to open) but i have room for you and you can camp with us if you want we will but waaaaay up in handicapped where its CLOSE to centeroo. its a great place to camp
where are your parents bringing you from? i see you are in philli....but where will y ou drive into roo from? maybe you could hook up with us in nashville and avoid more stress on your part?

We're driving in from Knoxville. I would be open to meeting anyone in nashville, that would be amazing. My number's 484-919-5644. If you think you might be able to help, feel free to text or call. I'll be on the computer until around ten tonight (EST), and will probably be up until around 11:30. We leave tommorow, and it's a long drive so we can sort out the details on the way there, if neccessary. Thanks for all the offers, and if all fails, I'll just walk in!

Here's the thing. People are leaving for roo at 7 am, and it's like a hour and a half drive from knoxville to roo. So that would mean leaving at 5:30 am would get us there at 7.

Don't forget...you gain an hour coming from Knoxville...but it takes me longer than 1.5 hours from Knoxville.
