There is a storm front moving in from the southwest. Forecasts show thunderstorms are likely every single day of the festival with highs in the mid '80s and lows in the mid to upper '60s.
or the even dustier 2004. The rain chances are in the 30% range and its all isolated or scattered. We should be alright for the most part.

Actually 2004 was the year of the torrential rain and mud. It was my first Roo and I'll never forget losing one of my sandals in a mud pit just as I was leaving BFE camping one night on the way to Centeroo. I ended up walking barefoot all the way. I don't recommend doing that. ;D
I'm hoping for light showers here and there and mostly cloudy skies. Standing in the Tennessee sun all day is a bitch when there are no clouds.

i'd prefer 90 degrees or higher over any t-storm, i hate rain, i hate wind, my tent won't be secure at all, if i have to i'll sleep in my car, which is a hyundai elantra

Sadly, I agree. I'd rather have clear skies and just need to put on more sunscreen and drink lots of water and maybe find some shade from a big tree to stay cool than be wet and muddy all weekend.

You're right. I lost my sandal in the mud on the way to Trey in 2004. 2003 was my first year and the dust bowl I was thinking of. I agree that Id rather have a little rain and cool mornings to sleep in rather than 100 degree heat. Sunshine is great and all but for all of us in tents... 7am comes too soon when the sun brings that much heat. Not to be a jerk, but why are you bringing a tent that leaks? Thats like... the main funtion of a tent isnt it?
I remember when the dead played in 04 and the big storm came. Me and three of my buddies sat in each corner of our big hangout tent and held it down during the storm. Just sat there in ponchos and weathered it. Weather seems so much more severe and big when you're in a field like that. Reminded me of watching Twister when I was in H.S. hahahaha. At the time it was a scary situation but I look back on it now with much gusto.
