A friend of mine is into Homeopathic medicine...she gave me some herbal tincture that with 3 drops on the tongue before bed or after waking up - headache gone in half an hour or less.
Unfortunately I don't know the recipe but I will be bringing my vial of tincture to Roo, anyone with a hangover near me will be welcome to it.
I'm sure to drink a water between each beer/cocktail when I know it's a marathon. It's gotten me through every: vacation, St Patty's week (lots of Guinness and Jameson) and festival (lots of everything) so far.
Best remedy I've ever had was when a buddy worked at a medical supply company. A half hour with the oxygen mask on while watching The Price is Right and I'd be off and running....anybody holding the O2?

I love that Alka-Seltzer Morning Relief ... it does work! I was glad I had it in London, where I hit just about every pub, but every morning I'd drink a glass of the fizzy-orange stuff and I was good to go.
I also love Vitamin water. Drinking lots of water before passing out helps, too. Oh, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. THAT helps every time!
Absolutely coffee helps in preventing hangover cause it has caffeine, but recently i heard that chicken soup can be also used as hangover cure and it works wonderful.
We used these each and every day at Roo this year and never had a hangover once. And I get hangovers BAD. Especially when i start drinking everyday at 9am and don't stop till 3-4am.

I'd not seen these, might have to give it a shot. The ultimate instant hangover fix is a Saline IV, shiz is crazy my head felt like it was this flattened squashed balloon that was getting filled up with the most pleasant breath of fresh air. But an IV drip isn't exactly practical on the farm esp. in TO.
My method to both avoiding and combating a hangover is to make sure I eat something and drink water &/or Gatorade before going to sleep. When I wake up I pop a B complex vitamin, chug a 16oz water, eat something greasy and cheesy between 2 slices of bread, wash it down with a Monster Rehab energy drink (I like the red one), then chug a 16oz Gatorade and in a few minutes I'm right as rain. Clear headed and ready to rock for another 20 hours!
Not trying to be preachy here, just what I personally use to prevent hangovers. I've found the best hangover treatment is to know your limit. Know when you get to a point that you're having fun and that, if you drink anymore, things aren't going to be fun the next day.
That being said, if you DO have a hangover, I've heard greasy food helps. I'm not entirely sure if it works, but any excuse to eat greasy food is a good one, in my book.

I hear you. But it's hard to know where that point is precisely. Because maybe that's the drink to get you to your maximum fun coefficient.
