Just a little rant. Past three years I have been in BFE. I have always been set up around 10:30 on Wed night. This year we waited to try to get a different location. So we got there around 7 AM and went in on Bushy Branch rather than the interstate. Getting through the gate wasn't bad at all. After we got our wristband we waited probably an 1.5 hours in line. To sum it up, I was the last car in the far right corner of BFE !!! What a walk after those late nights. I just couldn't believe it wasn't full by 7:00 when we hit the gates.
We got to Manchester around 6am, but having never been before, had some difficulties finding where to go. I think we finally got in line around 7am, and to our campsite at like 9am I guess.
I don't think anyone really knew what campsite we were. I heard Pussy Galore but I know for a fact that's wrong. I want to say it was Dr. No
Got in about 4am and got stuck by the treeline in pod 1. Super lame sauce so we moved to tent only. I'm doing that every year from now on. It was so awesome being able to stand up and see What stage!

Our neighbors were some cool dudes, though. About 3 or 4 guys and one girl from Columbia, TN. Our other neighbors were about 3 chicks that loved Phish and played Tegan & Sara alot.
After looking at the map, I'd say we were Dr. No for sure.

Yeah if you were on the right side of the portos then its Dr. No. Hell I probably seen your group around there. Sounds like I should have met those girls!
Yeah it was definately on the right side. My group was just me and my buddy in a tent infront of my car. I was in camo shorts and a 'make music not war' t-shirt. I probably saw you too, haha.
The girls were pretty hot. I think we talked to them once over the course of 4 days. One of them was wearing kneesocks in the 90+ degree heat, which I didn't understand. Until Saturday night when my legs were burnt to a crisp.

You know thats what I was thinking. It was so far to the brunch and stuff I didn't meet one single person from on here. I was actually looking forward to all that but I guess I was lazy with it.
I was in Pod 1 as well. As soon as you got into the camp, I was behind the first row of portos flying a teal peace sign flag, around lots of Oklahoma peeps. They didn't talk too much and stayed in their cars a lot.

Got in the I -24 Westbound entrance line at 6am. I was put in Camp Sloane Peterson, 1 row from the VIP fence. Did the same last year and was in Ferris Bueller 3 rows from the fence, but much closer to 3rd ave (VIP area was smaller this year).
After this year I'm pretty convinced that you show up early, they punish you by sticking you in Pod 1. After that, they start filling in columns from the center out.

Got in line around 1045 at exit 127 (all back roads) after seeing the 7mile long line on the highway. Big mistake because we ended up waiting almost 6 hours and got parked in Thunderlips. We made 6 or so trips to tent only, which was almost full by 6pm on Thursday. Tent only is the way to go, but all those trips dragging shit through the mud was miserable.

Got in at 630a(cmt) and was in camp pussy galore... Pod 1... last set of Portos on the left... 6 cars back... had a great time! Had awesome neighbors... Travis from WV, Mckenzie, Sean and Ben from IOWA.... great Roo!

i was camped right near you! we were 2 rows I think past the first portos. I could see the "Oklahomies" flag from my site!

I know! Especially with allllll that mud I just did not want to talk the trek over to Brunch. I had already fallen in the mud the night before! haha.
