So, All Good is not my first festi ever, but it will be my first time at All Good, not to mention my first festi in about 3 years. Threads like this have got me a little worried:
Anyone know if there's a lot of this going on at All Good? I've, with a very few exceptions, heard nothing but good things about it, and I'm super pumped to go...just want to make sure I'm prepared. Thoughts?

I think it's safe to say the scene at AllGood is very very different than the scene at Roo. I wouldn't use Bonnaroo-based threads to build up any worry about what will happen at AllGood. Just lock your valuables in a car and you'll be golden. I've never heard of any theft of any sorts at AllGood, except of course my sanity was stolen almost immediately upon stepping foot on the mountaintop. I learned to deal with that rather quickly though and it's been alright since then

AllGood is really friendly, but as with any heavily jamband based festival there will be shady wooks there who want to rob your tent and steal your beer. so be smart, don't leave your valuables out, and make friends with the neighbors
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Have not been to All Good since '05, but if it's half as chill as it was when I was there it'll be golden. It's not that I've been away from the scene that long, I just go to many different one's. Resume: 'ROO 1st 6 times (02-07) / All Good '05 / Summer Camp in Chillicothe IL '08 / Langerado '07 & '08 / 10 k Lakes '07 / Echo Project '07 / Wakarusa '08, and other smaller in N.C. like Trinumeral, Rockingham music fest '00 or '01 Center City Fest and many more.
The reason i bring this up is my experience with many different festivals gives me a good judge of which ones you have to really watch your nuts and which ones are chill with good peeps, chill atmosphere, and good vibes.
All Good is second on my list as MOST CHILL and EXCELLENT Festies. Summer Camp as a festy has the best combination of most laid back vibe, good people, and great music. Lock anything extremely valuable in your car. Other than that, make friends with your neighbors ad keep your tent zipped and you'll be ALL GOOD.
Begin The Countdown, I am STOKED! 17 days 13 hours and 5 Minutes....
trinumeral is still my fav fest just bc of the location and size
I would agree to a point, the no car camping thing was a pain in my rear. Plus those were pretty much the worst festie portos I have seen since 1998.
The no-car-camping really was a pain at Loki. I made about three shuttle trips and never did get my beer cooler in, wound up just bringing in a case of Yuegling and covering it with a comforter and sleeping bags to keep it from actually getting hot.
Monday morning, my volunteer job was to keep people from driving in to load up their stuff, unless they wanted to pay an additional $5 "land use" fee. At one point a girl we were trying to turn back just blew by me and the other guy I was working with radioed in to get her stopped, but I think she got away with it, due to radio congestion. Of course Tuesday afternoon when I was one of the last to leave, I was able to drive in and load everything up. By then the shuttles had quit running.
