our friendly neighbors next door were packing up sunday morning and told us they got a weather report that there was supposed to be an insane storm sunday night into monday morning with hail. pizza vendor conformed the rumor.
we missed e.badu to pack up everything, planning on sleeping in the car or cinema tent after we'd had enough phish. needless to say te storm never happened. and duh the cinema tent closes at 7 something sunday. we slept in the car.
no big deal, but i was just wondering if anyone heard about this storm that was supposed to happen and maybe why it didn't?

there was a HUGE storm coming. i kept an eye on the radar through my phone. it looked like it was going to be really bad, but it just fizzled as it hit middle tennessee. the bonnagods had mercy on us.
Yeah, our neighbor was nailing everything and tying all his tents and stuff down and we thought it was weird cuz it was Sunday and he was finally doing all of this stuff. He then procedes to tell us about a crazy storm that they told him was coming right for us. We all looked at the beautiful blue sky and sunshine and thought he was quacked up!!! Come to find out he was right, go figure! I'm glad it never came through though!
After Thursday night, I felt like we were getting severe weather warnings/rumors about every hour or so for the rest of the weekend. Still I thought when the clouds started to roll in at the beginning of Beastie Boys that Bonnaroo was about to take one on the chin. But yet again, whatever weather there was thankfully blew right on past...we must have had good collective karma.
