Is it me or was Centeroo a lot more crowded this year? I also noticed that the stages were less full this year. Maybe Centeroo seemed more crowded because less people stayed at the same stage for the whole show?
Last year was so much nicer and easier to navigate through Centeroo. I hope we have a better lineup next year that keeps people busy and off the streets of Centeroo. Also, the lines were AWFUL to get into centeroo - but someone already brought it up. Maybe I'm nuts, but I feel like a better lineup would resolve both issues.
Great Roo overall though. Our neighbors KICKED ASS!
It did seem a lot more crowded, especially Thursday night. I read an unofficial attendance of around 75K (per Ashley Capps). The lineup was stellar...we were all musing about how AC is going to top Roo '09.
Centeroo seemed about perfect to me this year. I do agree there were some crazy long lines to get in at times. It was way crowded on the inside, but never so much that I felt packed in or anything.
Maybe the lineup was so killer people wanted to move from show to show more often? I duno...stages definitely seemed less crowded and "street" more crowded this year.

The stages seemed way, way more crowded than they were in 07 to me. The "streets" of Centeroo seemed about the same. Lines getting in were way worse, though.
If anything, I think there were just more people overall. We never get actual numbers to compare to other years, but it seemed like there were more people around and it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case considering how kick-ass the lineup was.
The bigger stages (What, Which, That) seemed way more crowded but the smaller tents were less crowded. I went to a lot of less crowded shows because the "bigger" names were ridiculously packed (ie Grace Potter over Animal Collective, Moe over MGMT, Pretty Lights over Girl Talk)
