I'm from about 1.5 hours away from the Current River in MO. I can vouch for the beauty and the great time that can be had on parts of it. In fact I am going camping near the river and am going to go floating down for the second time this summer later this month.
And if I'm welcome I will try and come. The thing is I will have to check with my classes once school start again just to make sure that I am free from tests that Friday and Monday. But I would love to go to a smaller fest like this in a close location with a lineup I don't really know. I think that would make for a great discovering time.
Everyone is welcome as far as I am concerned, if you act like a smurf though Druid is gonna kick your ass.
As far as coming I told the guy I would submit a full list by Sept 1st, so you will have to have a ticket or plan on coming in thursday by then.

My little brother might be coming. He's starting his freshman year of college this year, so he's got to wait and see if he's going to have any exams or anything that Thursday or Friday, but, if he doesn't, he should be good to go.
Also, I definitely can make a flag or some other sort of decorations because my grandmother gave me a sewing machine this weekend, and I'm itching to try it out.

Jess, maybe you should update the first post to have a list of what everyone is bringing? I noticed that both you and I have offered to bring flags (although I don't necessarily think that two flags would be a bad thing - if you can work on a Bob flag, I can work on something different, not sure what yet). I'm planning on bringing: a grill, a bag of charcoal, some decorations (again, not sure what exactly yet), some firewood, and a surprise liquor treat (of which I refuse to partake because it's gross, but which Josh finds fantastic . . . in a gross way. ). We were also thinking we'd bring some hot dogs and, of course, beer.
I have two canopies, a boatload of tarps, and my "toy" I will work on a Bob flag, and maybe a banner or two to hang up there. Not to mention a bunch of glowies to brighten up the camp.

ok! well my roomate hula is probly down for the trip but i cant get anyone else convinced yet! the prob is that while everybody loves the dead noones to excited about a tribute band....besides DSO that is! the whole clan loves sci but drivin that far for only two half days of side projects isnt worth it tomost my crew! im tryin to tell em that theres a pretty good shot at a reunion show but it aint workin! anyways put us down for 2 and ill let yall know when i get my tix!
Well I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the Schwag in my opinion they are as good as, or better than DSO. Also you have to remember zoe is SCI's favorite festival grounds they have said so many times. September is always cheese themed, last year there were two, four hour long Leftover Cheese shows. It was everyone except kang from SCI, and everyone except Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon. I think you can expect a fairly cheesy superjam at this event, even if it is not technically an incident.

I think I may arrange to be at this one,it will be the only festival for me this year, unless I end up going to spookstock in October, but I will definitely be at one or the other or both. I may have a caravan of my own as well. I am only three and a half hours away,and I need to get my festy on.
