Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Well those who have met me, have almost for sure heard me talk about my favorite festival grounds ever camp zoe. This year in September at Schwagstock 42 there is going to be a String Cheese themed festival. As of right now almost every band on the bill is a SCI side project, and almost all of them are there. There is sure to be a Superjam that will have to be seen to be believed.
I have been talking to the site manager at zoe, and he has agreed to allow camp inforoo to have a pre selected spot so that we can all set up a theme camp. This is something they have been trying to do for awhile, and he is willing to try a pilot plan with us provided we can get 20 people signed up before the event.
zoe is a beautiful festie ground located about 3 hours south of St Louis, and pretty centrally located for those of us not on the East coast. One of the big reasons I would like to do this is that going to festival there is relaxing compared to most places I feel rested after 3 days there not worn out. The music does not start until 5 so we will have plenty of time to swin in the beautiful river, climb the bluffs to play in the cave/24 hour drum circle, and just generally get a chance to know each other. Something we are unable to pull off at as hectic event as Bonnaroo is.
Tickets are only 60, but we need pre pays if we want a reserved group camping spot. Like I said this is one of the most beautiful festie grounds you will ever see, and the scene is like AllGood except that it is more relaxed. Security is friendly and helpful, also you can bring your own cooler full of drinks and food up to the venue glass bottles included. If you just want to buy stuff there they have a reasonably priced bar (less than 4$ for most mixed drinks) or a general store where you can purchase beer or liquor for the same prices or less than you would expect to pay retail. 30 rack of PBR is 20 dollars, and most everything is priced in that same vein, of slightly more than Krogers, but less than a gas station.
So if you have those post roo blues and live within a 6 hour drive go on and signup here and lets see if we can get this going. If we can pull this off I promise you guys will have the best time you have ever had at a festival smaller than Bonnaroo.

I think roofan, KP (my friend you met) and myself will go down Thursday to set stuff up and get it ready for people on Friday. They are going to be willing to let us do this, but we are going to have to help the staff out as much as possible by roping off the site, and making sure they have a list of inforoosters. This will be much better, as people will not really need to get in until Friday afternoon.

^You will not regret it if you do. Plus it will be teines Bday weekend. Ehe Site manager really wants a theme camp what would be a good theme? I was kinding of thinking a Gilligans Island theme with Banana leaves, and coconut decorations.

I'd really like to do this, but was planning on Trinumeral the week before. There's a slight chance I might try to do both, or just do this instead, but it depends on how a lot of things go between now and then. In any case, it'll come down to a last minute decision, most likely.
Just say you are going and you will need to prepay for a ticket so I can show the site manager we are serious about having a group together. I will add you to the list now, just let me know how many are in your party so we can figure out how big a space we will need.

Zoe is freakin awesome. Have been up there for 4 events since my first Schwag last September.. Its beautiful and the people, including the organizers and security are all very chill. It's hands down the friendliest festival I go to.

I wish I could make this. Camp Zoe is one of the greatest venues I've ever attended. Big Summer Classic was such a fantastic festival and I plan on returning one day but just not this year. The creek that runs through most of the camping section is perfect, even after 50-100 have been stomping around...it never gets muddy or dirty.
I'm considering, but I"m 9 hours away and would be driving on my own I can't say anything definite till later on
If you have the time off, and want to drive to Nashvegas on Wed you can convoy with us. I really want to see an inforoo turnout if this is not apparent yet BTW.

I'm soooooo excited! We haven't had a vacation in so long! I even found a place to board the dogs that's sort of reasonably priced (and I'll pay half up front and half when they are boarded, so it won't be such a big hit all at once)! And I'll finally get to use my sleeping bag that my mom got me for Christmas 2 1/2 years ago!

oh wow. I totally forgot about the outdoor movie theater. I can remember stumbling through the woods trying to find out where this sound was coming from. Long story, short. Everyone should watch Finding Nemo on the wall of rock cliff with a head full of L. It's so impossible for me to go but i encourage everyone to join Wolfman Jess and his crew for a magical weekend in the mountains. Camp Zoe is where it's at!

How much stuff would you be bringing? I'm pretty sure that we could fit an extra person in our car, and it wouldn't be that far out of our way for us to swing by Birmingham and pick you up. PM me if you wanna' try to work something out.

Sounds good man, I will send you my number, and maybe we can grab a beer somewhere first. I think I will be going down early Thursday to stake out our spot, so you might want to wait, but you are welcome to follow me in.

I can make a flag if someone else can make a pole. We tried to make a pole once, and it didn't go so well.
How big of a grill would we need? There are some cheap, little ones at Kroger for less than $20, and I'd be happy to pick one up, but I'm not sure that it would be sufficient.
Wow those pictures are gorgeous!! I would love to go, but we're already going up to Missouri for our annual Current River Canuerin' trip for Labor Day Weekend, so it may be a bit too much Missouri for one month.....still would love to check that venue out sometime.
