Rooconteur voted for me first - a mere six minutes into this game - without providing any explanation. I reciprocated briefly, but had better reason to suspect Ian.
Ian had voted for Bacon this point.
He switched his vote to me, with the following reasoning:
Ian says he did it in a non-random fashion. That implies he has a purpose behind his vote. He could have randomly selected anyone with a single vote to attempt a run-off - but he chose me... for a reason. Since all the Townspeople have pretty much zero information, it seems Ian is inferring he has a role which does have information. That means he's either Mafia or Inspector. Since I'm innocent, I know his Inspector claim is impossible - I know he didn't get my name because I am not Mafia. That is what set off my BS detector, after I'd already voted for him for other reasons. Only a Mafia member would have intent in going after an innocent player - which is why I'm calling out Ian.
At this point, Chadd voted for Ian. That's when Ian got nervous & changed his vote to me... then, I suspect, he & possibly Rooconteur enlisted his associate Higgi to swing me into a run-off.
This is clearly just a Mafia attempt to get rid of me as soon as possible, and I would appreciate my fellow innocents getting behind me here. Trust me, Townspeople... you scratch my back now, and I'll scratch yours if I live to see Day Two. I'd appreciate not being whacked in order for you to believe me.

Screw you all >.< This is the 2nd mafia game I have been killed off the first round, can't I get a break
Edit: In a row at that!! I must say, my vote was not entirely random.
The first post there simply indicates a desire to force a run-off. The second post there says you have a "not entirely random" reason for voting for an innocent player - that's how I know you have information about this game the average Townsperson does not. Your flaw is you tried pulling this nuts with the wrong innocent...
So riddle me this, Ian: What kind of player... 1) has insider knowledge of the game, and 2) uses that knowledge to go after an innocent, and 3) does so in tandem with other players?
Like I said earlier... I do believe I smell a rat.

Ok so you are flat out accusing me of being Mafia, that much is obvious. But what I do not get is how you are CERTAIN of bacons innocence.
I am not certain of anyone's innocence but my own.
Then why attack me over wanting to get bacon out of the game. I haven't played mafia as much as you, so I was trying something different for a change. Guess I will just lay by the sidelines.
I didn't attack you over wanting Bacon (the person) out.
I changed my vote to you because you dissed a fellow Kevin (btw - hi, my name is Kevin) and one of the bestest foods around - bacon. At that point, it was a random vote - I even said it was subject to change.
Then you changed your vote to me & made your "not entirely random" comment - which triggered my bullhonkey alarm. That statement tells me that you have inside information about the game not available to all players. It also tells me you have an agenda in regards to yours truly.
Townspeople don't receive information to make "not entirely random" decisions. Scratch that off the list of roles you might have.
That leaves Inspector and Mafia - the two player roles which receive inside information. I know I'm innocent; I know an Inspector wouldn't intentionally go after an innocent. Scratch Inspector off that list of Ian's possible roles.
At the end of that, here's what the list of Ian's possible roles looks like as far as I'm concerned: Townsperson (No; Ian has inside info) Inspector (No; Ian is going after a Townsperson) Mafia
Like I said... you picked the wrong innocent to quack with.
All I'm saying is that I do this and won't do it drunk.
You don't even have the ocean in WI.
Sweet. I dont quite have a picture but we have a reservoir with a dam and people fish on the river side were the dam opens up. They catch some might large catfish that way.
I had to get to bed early because I start work in 20 minutes. No that that I've got a problem drinking on weeknights. Since I had friends in town, I've done my fair share of that already this week P.S. vote Ian!

gah! well, on one hand, ian does look a little fishy with that "not entirely random" thing. i mean, could he maybe be the inspector and felt like he had to out himself early to save himself? or is he just lying to save himself?
but kdogg seems awfully defensive and verbose for it just being the first round, though i probably would too if it was my butt on the line. and of course kdogg is known for his long explanations.

so, you picked up a crack habit at 'Roo this year then?

kdogg...the biggest problem i have about your argument is that it's mostly based on the fact that we believe you're innocent. i mean, anyone can say that first round! it's just not a lot to go on
though i must say i'm leaning more towards ian at this point, but i won't cast my vote til i see other arguments.
