Yay! I'm not sure how much I'll be online this weekend since I'll be out of town for the 4th.
I wouldn't expect things to really get going before Monday anyway. I'm at the family's in TN for the weekend, so I don't plan on being on here much in the next couple of days. (Although, right now, my mom is deeply involved in a tennis game on tv, and I am uber-bored. )

For the record, if this game takes much longer to get started, someone else might want to ref because I'm going out of town on 7/13, and I won't be back until 7/18.

It makes more sense when you are actually in the game, but, in a nutshell, 11 players - 3 mafia, 7 regular townspeople, 1 inspector. Mafia know who each other are, regular townspeople know only that they are regular townspeople, inspector gets 1 mafia name before the game starts and can ask each "night" about one other player and receive a yes or no answer as to whether that player is mafia. Mafia can PM each other, but no other player can talk about the game outside of the game thread except with the ref. During the "day" all players vote to "kill" off one player; when the voting ends, day ends and night begins; during the "night" the mafia choose a player to kill. Game ends when all mafia are dead (townspeople win) or mafia outnumber townspeople (mafia win).
Again, though, it makes more sense once you get started. Can I put you down as our final player?
