I'm cool with Indio, after giving it some serious thought. It's been roughly 2,323 days since the last time I had In 'N Out Burger. Plus, the logistics are much easier what with some of my old pals living in Orange County. To Indio!

This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.
If it is in Indio, it is going to be more equivalent to a 3 day run somewhere than a festival, and I am sure there will be a run closer to me that I would rather see before the year is out.
the map is phucking with my head! Last night, I noticed that Utah was in color at the end of the animation, oddly. Today, it was dark again, but Oregon was colored in for a couple hours this morning at the end of the animation. That's also gone now too. I know I wasn't imagining this.

All of this nonsense is exactly why I stopped looking at phish.com two weeks ago and have since kept myself updated just by reading everyone's posts on here. It's much more comical this way. It helps knowing that I won't be able to go no matter where it is.

^^Nope, quite the opposite. I still don't have a job, and not even enough money to purchase the black market fireworks in the first place. My dealer won't give me a loan either, cause he knows the pyrotechnic in me would be liable to just light them all at once and create a humongous explosion over a phish lot.
Well I saw Phish 4 times already this summer, a small intimate indoor show, 2 festival appearances, and a large outdoor amphitheater in the middle of a thunderstorm. I am just looking forward to SS 42, and Bear Creek. I still plan on saving up for NYE though.
Check the lighting at 2:30, let me tell you it was a a life changing time.

Announcement tomorrow...this guy claims to have inside info "from the horses mouth". So far, he called the Hampton and RR runs, and predicted bonnaroo before any announcement came out out. he is also saying it WILL be in Indio...take it for what its worth, but from what I’ve seen from him so far, ill believe him.
Gah, I wanna go sooo bad!! Even if I get a great new job, I don't think my Labor day trip and property taxes in October will allow me to swing it. I am so bummed, but also very hopeful that they will head to the southeast this fall/winter. I feel like I just missed them the first (2nd?) time around--my first show was Coventry, and now I feel this intense urge to make up for lost time. I know I should settle down in my mid-twenties, but f-it, I want to freakin tour with phish!! Damn responsibilities...
Haha ...you know what I mean though, I think it's more that everyone around me thinks I should settle down, not that I'm really ready to. Sometimes I feel like a freak for just not wanting to grow up
I have been a huge phan since '94, and seen a lot of shows. That rivals on my favorite moment ever
that makes me happy. i couldnt believe it was happening. i was so happy that night i just put in Phish at roo in after the show and drove back to Nashville. My two buddies past out right away. I was just in the mood.
and as far as indio is concerned i am upset but whatever.... its not a surprise. but im 95% sure that i wont be able to make this happen. Bonnaroo and Rothbury wiped me out but i would like to think Cinci and NYE will make up for missing Halloween. But damn...3 day festival! Halloween! Phish! Why is it west coast?!

the map thing was kinda cool at first. Once everybody knew that it was in Indio they tried to change it up, and it really lost interest. Putting states back up was lame. :thumbsdown:

I still think the map thing was exponentially cooler and more fun than just an announcement of a time and place. I mean really, I don't think I've ever seen people gripe over a band's creativity so much.
