i'd like to know what some of you northerners consider "not that cold" or "not that bad" as far as how cold nights get. it got down to about 47ish at rothbury and i thought i was going to slip into a hypothermic state.
the lows in texas around that time around around 63 at night. that seems pretty comfortable to me ;D

I prefer the cold than the heat any day. I was in shorts every night at Rothbury. The way i look at it is that you can always put more clothes on with lower temps but in the heat there is a point where it's absolutely miserable and there is nothing to do about it unless you have squirt bottles and frozen underwear.
I just looked at it quickly, but I think that's a fake. The states for the Vineland announcement are all the same size as the current map on phish.com. When sites fade out on the map, I'm pretty sure they shrink a little bit. Did anyone else notice this?

this is my outlook-nothing worse than pouring sweat with no way to stop it
I know its unlikely, but NY and VT are still in the running. And being from here I would love camping out in that weather (btw its been warm right up into mid october the past few years, think mid 70's-low 80's). -Wang
I had a dream last night that it was in Big Cypress. It felt like a premonition, but maybe it was New Years.
if they're going to do a new years festival too than i think that Big Cypress will probably be the location for that. It's one of the few places that has weather that could support an outdoor festival that late in the year. But than again I guess california could work for that too. who knows
Still pulling for Vermont... nothing like Vermont in the Fall for beauty and the weather usually is quite warm during the day and not cold enough that you couldn't survive with a couple blankets at night
plus we still don't have a Phish show in their reunion year... that's bullshit
