I got my camping spot at Anastasia State Park (it's right next to the venue and a 5 minute walk to the gate). I've been to a few shows at the amphitheater and it's the best way to go. I've been holding out on tickets though because even the upper deck looks like it's reserved seating. Don't know if it's going to be 2 or 4 of us.
There were only a few spots left when I got mine, that place stays booked up most of the summer. I know they keep some walk up spots for people that come day of, but I'm not real sure how it works, might want to make a phone call.
If you are around on sunday during the day, I would recommend the Conch House. It's a restaurant right up the street from the venue on the Intracoastal waterway. They do a Reggae Sunday that is pretty cool, good food and nice music with a great atmosphere.
Just a heads up I was going to get my regular tickets $25+fees and now they are running a 4 ticket special for $75....it comes to 93 with fees. It's only for the GA section, but pretty good prices for a show.
