Last couple of years Roo has had a country legend perform and I would personally like for the next one to be George Jones. He has some good timin songs and a fistfull of classics. Anyone else care to see him or any other country artist they would like to see?

He wouldn't be my top choice but I would check him out. I think that I'd prefer Kris Kristofferson or Dolly Parton as far as country elders go. Actually, I'd prefer Johnny Cash or Waylon Jennings but those ships have sailed...

I vote a very emphatic Yay...

I got to see him last September, and though he's much older and his voice isn't quite what it once was, it was still a great show and he is still a great showman.

Plus, I think his No Show Jones days are behind him.

I had the opportunity to see him about 30 (oh crap has it been that long) years ago in a small venue in Macon. I was at the front and he was directly in front of me about 10 feet away. It remains a cherished musical memory..."he stopped loving her today"
