^I love Chastain, but it draws a crowd that's not always terribly interested in the music, (In his online journal, David Byrne said, "We’d been warned it might be a picnic crowd that would view the musical acts as background for their Southern social get-together." And that's mostly true, except that the crowd was way into him when he played. , and there aren't usually a lot of shows there that I actually have any interest in seeing.

Well considering they are probably my favorite band who's members are all still alive, minus Soul Brother Number One Ben Harper, I'm gonna try to be there so anyone going wanna chill and possibly partake in what you guys call "corn" during the show I'm more than down.

I'd like to go, but won't know until a week or so ahead of time. I've never been to Chastain. I saw them at the Tabernacle in '06 and then Roo '07, so I'm about ready for some more FLIPS.

Stardeath and the White Dwarfs were at the Rites of Spring with the Flaming Lips in Nashville. One of the dudes in the band is Wayne's nephew or cousin or something along those lines. They came out and played a song with the FLips during their set.

I will be going to this show too! So excited. I haven't seen them since they played at Amo's Southend in Charlotte, I think it was about 2 yrs ago. I need my Flaming Lips fix! Anyways, I had a question for those of you who have bought your tickets. OK, so I know you get a download code for some new songs when you buy the tickets, but the thing is I didn't buy my tickets. Someone else bought them on there credit card so we could all have seats together. Anyways, we were trying to find the code for the music on the email receipt, but we didn't see it. Could somebody actually tell me where you get it from?

This is from the Tickmaster site regarding the code for music:
"Within 3-5 business days, you will receive an email from Ticketmaster with a unique code and instructions on how to redeem your music. Please note - This offer is not valid for tickets purchased via Ticket Exchange."

I agree man, didn't disappointment like always, must say Chaistian Park was a badass venue too, zero search, they had no tailgating signs up, but us and everyone else where we parked did.
