Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Getting right to the point, we're going to play a handful of shows in NYC, Chicago and LA starting August 22nd. They will be informal affairs in medium to small venues with longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers and other surprises. Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight - it just didn't feel right to end NIN that way. An offer to headline V-Fest in Toronto (being announced soon) set the idea in motion to play some FUN shows to end this up with. If we can get it together we'll film these shows, too.
In NYC we'll be playing Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5. In Chicago, the Aragon Ballroom. In LA we'll be at The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex. These should be cool, unusual and unique shows and I hope you come out - this is it.
So far, The Horrors will be joining us for some shows in NYC, Mew will be with us at other shows in NYC, Chicago and LA, and perhaps more. Details and ticket info will be announced shortly, so check back.
Thanks, Trent"
Woo hoo!! I'll be at all the LA shows for sure!

I have to laugh at the last 3 words of the second paragraph "this is it"
Yeah right - I believed that when Bonnaroo was supposed to be the last show - why should I believe it now?

update:
Nine Inch Nails kicked off the second show of their farewell tour Sunday night with a milestone in the band’s 20-year history: a live performance of their 1994 album “The Downward Spiral” in its entirety and sequence which stunned the audience of 1,400 at Webster Hall. This is the first – and could possibly be the only – time they have done this.
The rest of the set featured selections from throughout the band’s career including “Head Like a Hole,” “The Hand That Feeds,” and a cover of new wave singer Gary Numan’s “Metal.”
The band is on its “Wave Goodbye” tour, which continues with shows in New York, Chicago, and Toronto before concluding in Los Angeles next month.

I wish I would've went to one of these shows but I didn't up end going. I'm happy I got to see NIN though at Toronto and get the t-shirt and the poster.
The story of the t-shirt Summers breeze at the Echoplex (600 person venue, only 100 tshirts made) is hilarious too. This guy goes up and buys a ton of shirts and posters to scalp them on ebay the next day for $200 a shirt. NIN get word of it after their forum found the guy's name and picture. Trent cancelled the scalpers ticketsfor the wiltern and the fonda, how awesome is that.
Anyone see the setlist from the rescheduled Fonda? Mike Garson, Eric Avery, Gary Numan, Danny Lohner all showed up to give Trent a helping hand. They played a ridiculous 31 songs in 2 hours 45 minutes. Can't wait for a quality bootleg to show up.

Lucky Love Children! I envy their encores and guests. I think the Chicago venue had an 11pm curfew. They played about 2hrs 20min each night.
The only guest at the Chicago shows was Peter Murphy from Bauhaus. He joined them for lead vocal on Dead Souls & that Joy Division cover the first night, and Reptile the second.
I was especially frustrated, knowing they had done TDS in its entirety in New York, frustrated to hear the first three tracks off Broken consecutively before steering off that course. No Happiness in Slavery for me.
