Like half the league now... You would've done me a nice favor taking ncbst down a whole peg, instead of just half. Rally harder next time.

I can't help what I'm working with, but I think I made a huge FA acquisition today and I feel like I can really rally and get back to .500. ( I really feel like I haven't done near enough smack talk in this league and that's the best I can do all demoralized and what not. )
I admit, I was disappointed to finally return home last night and see that you'd already grabbed him. I probably would've made that move myself if I'd had the opportunity. I've got a waiver claim on him in another one of my leagues.
I went directly to the bar after work instead of checking things right away, so I have no regrets. I needed it.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Just a reminder to everyone that Thursday night games are in effect for the rest of the season - with the exception of Christmas week, where there's no Thursday (Eve) game but one on Friday (Christmas) night.

I already screwed myself into defeat before Thursday was over. I took a gamble and played both James Jones & Jordy Nelson. I figured one of them was guaranteed to score while the other met their projection. I had a good feeling about Nelson's kick returning vs. Detroit (he took one in vs. TB a few weeks ago that was called back due to penalty) and Jones has found the end zone more times than Jennings this year. I figured it was worth a shot. Nelson fumbled on the initial kick return and left with an injury after getting himself back up to zero points
I'm still not sure whether that was bad strategy, or merely bad luck.

Since it was mentioned... how many of us have other teams/leagues, and how are they doing?
I've got two other teams in ten-team public leagues. My ESPN team, Fearless Freaks, is at 5-8 at the end of its regular season... two of those losses were within 5 points and I'm doomed to consolation. My other dogg sQuad (also at Yahoo) is sitting pretty at 11-1 with the #1 seed already clinched. I've got a good feeling about that team.
I'm confident enough to declare that dogg sQuad is guaranteed a playoff spot in this league. It's myself, Summer Dose & Red-Headed Jedis competing for the final two spots... and those teams are conveniently playing each other this week. I think it's the only game with playoff consequences this final week.
