Since it was mentioned... how many of us have other teams/leagues, and how are they doing?
I've got two other teams in ten-team public leagues. My ESPN team, Fearless Freaks, is at 5-8 at the end of its regular season... two of those losses were within 5 points and I'm doomed to consolation. My other dogg sQuad (also at Yahoo) is sitting pretty at 11-1 with the #1 seed already clinched. I've got a good feeling about that team.
I'm confident enough to declare that dogg sQuad is guaranteed a playoff spot in this league. It's myself, Summer Dose & Red-Headed Jedis competing for the final two spots... and those teams are conveniently playing each other this week. I think it's the only game with playoff consequences this final week.
I've been in 2 dynasty money leagues for the last two years. Both teams are 7-6 with the first round of playoffs starting this week.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Gonna be a close week for me I feel... Hopefully I'll edge it out.
My other league, which I put money on, was a disaster. Well, not really a disaster... I had the 3rd highest point total at the end of the regular season out of the whole league. The problem is, the top 2 were both in my division, and I ended up at a 7-7 record.
One of my other leagues has a team named Redskins... I don't think the poor bastid saw it coming.
Even with Peyton Manning under center, they stunk it up but good.
And somehow, I'm 12-1 with my only loss (1.06 pts) coming at the hands of those Redskins. I'm still pissed at Donald Lee for dropping that 4th down endzone pass at the Vikings in week four...
I had to play Jason Campbell on Peyton's bye week in regular season and well you kicked my ass and here in the playoffs I almost lose because Indy sits Peyton but your kicker doesnt get enough looks vs Jason Campbells team and I win.
Alas I was honestly worried to play you. Great game.
Rodgers sat plenty, too... another thing I was none too happy about.
Dropping/replacing Crosby, though... I'm still fucking pissed off at Nathan about that. Nate's my friend who has years of fantasy football experience on me, so I dropped him a line for non-kicker related advice. I was actually asking about David Thomas in relation to my TE & W/T situations.
Before his response mentioned anything about my initial inquiry, though, he went on a big tangent about needed a new kicker stat. I was still (as many here in Wisconsin were) sore about Crosby blowing a difference-making 30-some yard field goal at Pittsburgh. So I took Nate's unsolicited advice and dropped Crosby for a replacement that scored 9 points less. I lost by 3.
I don't know how Greg Olsen does tonight on my bench, so it's quite possible Nate was wrong on both counts.
Either way, though... I am giving Nate a swift kick in the nuts next time I see him.

Wow so I totally didn't realize I was still playing in a consolation match this week... Not there's too much I could've done that would've changed the outcome it doesn't seem, but damn!
Starting Crayton woulda gave me the win. Sometime Ill need to let go of my hatred for the Cowgirls when it comes to fantasy football. Thought Philly would blow them out

I'm considering going down to the game this saturday, just dont know if I want to risk paying all the money and philly beating my boys.
