there are really only like 4 artist playing i want to see that i havent already. glitch mob and gift of gab might be enough for me to go. pnuma is allways a fun show too. its probably gonna come down to friends with money to get me there so far.
I don't know how old this b/w youtube video is, but if the show nowadays look anything like this, I don't see how I could miss being there. It makes me think of Ornette Coleman on assid.

They've changed their tune a little on the charges for volunteers:
"Good news for volunteers. Because of the site charge per person, we have to charge volunteers coming to the festival. The charge has been renegotiated as $30.00. There will be a $100.00 deposit required which will be returned to each volunteer after their service.
The payments should be as follows: A $30 money order made out to Trinumeral and a $100 money order made out to cash. These should be mailed to Trinumeral P.O. Box 771, Landrum, SC 29356.
We are currently working on the three 5-hour shifts that will be required of each volunteer. If you have a specialty area in which you prefer to volunteer, please email us and let us know that area. We will be sending out future emails with the list of all stations that must be monitored by volunteers. Examples are trash pickup, hospitality, parking, clean-up before, during and after the festival, etc.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering and we look forward to either hearing from you or receiving your deposits or both."

Remember, no cell phone service in Deerfields! You're basically in the national forest. The only cell phone service is in the parking lot, which is a pretty good walk/shuttle ride to the actual venue.
I brought my fire poi last year, and never lit up cause I wasn't sure of the policy on them. I think I'm gonna try it out this year.
ok so at first i was depressed that i was going to miss the Preparty at the Orange Peel because The Egg was headlining, but now i see on the poster it has The Egg x 2. so i guess The Egg will do a PreParty set and a festival latenight(hopefully).

We are writing to notify our favorite people that we have some more additions to the
Trinumeral 09' line-up. Along with BELA FLECK/ ZAKIR HUSSAIN / EDGAR MEYER's first festival
performance ever in the history of the world, we have just added The Disco biscuits side projects:
CONSPIRATOR & M80 DUB STATION
Consiprator: In late 2003, Aron and Marc, keyboard and bass players from the Disco Biscuits , set out to find a producer to help them bring to life the tracks they made for a Trance-Fusion Super group show they played at Webster Hall in NYC, earlier that year. As fate would have it, they were quickly brought together with Omen, a young, Hungry revolutionary producer from Final Phaze NYC and Conspirator was born.
M80 Dubstation: (Jon Gutwillig of The Disco Biscuits): Dubstep is known for its dark mood, deep bass and minimalism. Dubstep uses minor chords and dissonant harmonies that create a perfect backdrop for the gothic, gritty landscape of cities like NYC, Philadelphia and Manchester. The minor chords used in dubstep have traditionally expressed darkness or tension in music. However, it can create a meditative atmosphere that is attractive to a growing audience, some of whom may otherwise not go for the more aggressive styles of jungle or drum & bass. M80 Dub Station is an ambitious project clearly undertaken out of genuine love for the music and the true creativity that comes through collaboration, experimentation and unbridled musical freedom
These two acts are going to headline the thursday night line-up at Deerfields Music Park.
Make sure you get on line now and buy your tickets if your planning on being in
attendance tickets are beginning to sell really fast.
