Was a good day. Lots of good music, great weather.
Got into town just after 1. Was able to park at Morgan Street. Luckily they were running late enough so I could catch Lukas Nelson. Was surprised to see how fast the turnarounds were between sets.
I left after Neil. Based on what I heard on Sirius on the way home, I didn't miss anything with Willie's set - wasn't anything special compared to what I saw last night in Mansfield.
Got to meet up with Beaker and Bonzai for Chris Stapleton and Dave/Tim.

God what a day. Very glad I spent the extra for a seat.
Sturgill probably put on the best set of the day, followed by Neil Young. Promise of the Real makes so much of a difference from the only other time I've seen him, which was a solo tour of his. They shred. Their set earlier in the day was amazing too. Lukas is an underrated songwriter.
I've seen Stapleton 2 other times, and this time was very straightforward and by the book.
Mellencamp put on a great set, although it got very show-tuney for a little while.
Kasey Musgraves was probably my most anticipated behind Neil. First half of the set was great, but they really lost momentum towards the end with some technical diffuculties and Musgraves being visibly pissed off yet still smiling through it. The way they use synths with country music is just so damn innovative but the whole facade of the performance was not that appealing to me.
They started the music late so everyone up to Stapleton had their sets cut short. Rateliff was on fire but only played for about 30 minutes. New stuff sounds amazing live, especially Shoe Boot which they opened with. Also Hey Mama is a great live song.
Particle Kid aka younger of Willie's sons was a great early set. Very Young-esque garage rock.
Never been a Dave fan but I enjoyed his set. Didn't need it to be any longer than it was.
Willie's family is a great backing band, Willie obviously is losing his playing chops but the voice is still mostly there.
An amazing experience all around. Would definitely travel to future Farm Aids.
