^ Not so sure man. I will certainly be at Tool, but I think there's a lot of people that will be opting for YYY's. The entire indie scene will surely be there, and I would gather that YYY's captures most of the female audience as well. Looking over at the Lolla boards, there's a poll up for Tool vs. YYY's and YYY's is winning by a large margin. Not purely representative of the Lolla population but a good indicator nonetheless
Yessir. Bit of a bummer that it's basically the same show we got at Bonnaroo in '07 (minus a few songs even), but it's going to be epic I'm sure. This is only the second time I'll be seeing them, so I'm extremely pumped. The new visuals look very nice also

i generally tend to feel like lolla is more of the hipster crowd in general. i've never been, though, so it's very possible that's not the case. the lineups just tend to lean that direction IMO.
Tool and Rage bring out a hipster crowd? What planet are you posting from? Id rather hang with Rage/Tool fans than all the d bags that will be at YYY, Rise Against, Asher Roth, and Coheed. Thats a hipster crowd if Ive ever heard of one.

I'm happy I didn't buy tickets. But there's still a lot of bands that I'd like to see on the lower tier.
Wolfman, I don't see how it's possible that the Beasties could cost a million dollars to book. My brother books acts for a living and he's never heard of an act that costs that much.
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good

You misunderstood what I meant. I was saying that Tool will bring the d ouche crowd. I also think you don't really know what a hipster is. Rise Against, Asher Roth and Coheed are definitely not hipster friendly.

How can you even put YYY in that group? I'd rather deal with a bunch of girls and guys texting on their cell phone occasionally with skinny jeans swaying to Maps than have to deal with moshing. Have you seen the videos of Rage last year at Lolla? It was a mess. A bunch of kids getting militant to Rage, I'll pass.
