ok, well i suggest we stick with our inspector, which we are doing so far. i say next we go after wolf.
higgi/hippie, i think you both need to take a deep breath, eat some corn, and try to take a rational view on things. i can see why each of you initially thought the other was guilty. i suspected early on both of you might be. the accusations and defenses have escalated to the point of a rivalry where neither wants to back down . i ask at least a truce until we vote off strum and wolf. if at that point the townspeople have not won, royal rumble.
please remember jenkazoo interceded to SAVE HIPPIE. had she not, she would have lived one more night most likely. so it stands to reason, if you believe jen hippie is innocent. hgh is guilty. so higgi, your adamance against hippie is a little suspicous to me, as i am pretty certain hippie is innocent. that said, i say we kill strum, then wolf. then we can re-open this discussion if need be.

o and hippie, the main reason i have not been arguin strum's theories is, most of the action went down while you were at phish. once jenkazoo came out as inspector affirming my suspicions, the case was closed in my mind. the vote was decidedly in our favor. arguing with strum would only provide me to make a stoned mistake that makes me look guilty and blows the game. i didn't and still don't think that anyting strum says is going to switch enough votes to save him self despite what are some very valiant efforts.
well, I do believe Jen, but just because she thought that Hippie may be innocent doesn't mean I am going to believe it. As I don't expect ya'll to believe I am innocent just because Jen thought so, either.
But what I DO know, is that both Hippie and myself are hella stubborn. But I can't discount the argument I've compiled against Hippie just yet, because I have several theories now and I am not sure what one to follow.
For this round I am sticking with my vote for Strum. Next round will be interesting, nothing short of a fuckin' goat rodeo I'm sure ;D
ANd to be fair, the same persistence I have towards Hippie's guilt, Roo, you have towards her innocence, which is equally as suspicious. Because aside from Strum being mafia, given Jen was our inspector, nothing is 100 percent..
I don't think too much of it at this point, but I just wanted to bring it up. And also, this entire game I have stuck with her, over solid evidence and quoted posts from her, I never swayed from my campaign because other pieces of info kept surfacing.
Like I said before, if I were really mafia, wouldn't you think that I would try to blend in and run with the masses when it came to voting?? This is all just to ensure you of my innocence, I can give you my word and anything else you desire to solidify that fact. It's true I haven't ever stuck with any other player through the entire game as I have for Hippie, but I also think I haven't ever had as much information pointing to one persons guilt. So, if I was wrong, I was really fucking wrong, but I'd hope ya'll can see why I've been so adamant about her and also that I am truly, indeed an innocent.

^ i really do believe your innocent. and i do see your viewpoint. i just ask we do strum>wolf. then if we have problems within ourselves., we deal with it.
This game is taking forever. I am going to lose consistent internet access tomorrow. It should be fine especially since I have not been posting much this game and I just have to walk down to the library to get wifi.

Rooconteur, you STILL haven't answered the one simple question I have posed to you!! Why!? Don't play this "hippie was at Phish" excuse, that makes less sense than your theory about HGH in the beginning. So please, just come up with some bull answer to humor me to the one and only question I've asked you thus far which you've done a good job avoiding.
How did you suspect Jen was inspector and hence vote for HGH... when Jen hadn't even placed a vote yet, and had never once even mentioned HGH's name at that point?

I love the fact that a consensus that I'm guilty has been reached based on me questioning Roo's reasoning for hippie's innocence and HGH's guilt, before jen came out. I hope that higgi is at least smart enough to see that what I was doing was an honest mistake.
And strumn I would still like to see someone else come out in support of you for me to change my vote.

^^I was just posting asking if you were reading this, Wolf. These guys are already claiming their intents to kill you next round. I don't know about you, but I'd be skeptical of voting alongside anyone at this point who seem so intent on killing me.
I understand your reasoning for wanting to wait though. I mean, as is right now your vote change wouldn't matter so it's not really necessary regardless.

Ok, after a lot of driving, and some corn, I've gotta say that in the end I still believe jen to be inspector. Maybe I'm falling right into their trap, but whatever. Another inspector has yet to even hint at anything, so I'm going with my gut and voting strum...final answer.
Also....
Higgi...the thing is, you ARE really smurfing wrong. You keep saying you have all this "evidence" against me, but you really don't. Not anymore than I have against you. Your main argument is based on two sentences that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. I know you'd like to think otherwise, but it's just not the case. You've been barking up the wrong tree this entire game, and completely disregarding logic and reason for why someone else could possibly be mafia.
If you're so sure I'm mafia, how bout we make an agreement? If you're wrong(which you are), you have to put a signature of my choosing really big in your profile for at least a month. Something along the lines of "I was an idiot and should have listened to hippie".

If I'm wrong I will personally apologize to you. But right now I'm going with my gut. And yes I read everything. I'm just not ready to concede jen's guilt. Not to mention if I vote the same as higgi(which I have the last couple rounds now) he can't come up with any other lame argument to try and make me look guilty without pointing fingers at himself as well.

Probably for the best anyways. I'm leaving tomorrow to hit up Merriweather on Saturday and I don't have one of these fancy shmancy phones that allow me to play mafia at the same time

Yes, I do think roo's responses were very weak. But right now, I'm going with MY gut. And my guy says jen was inspector. I will re-evaluate everything after tonight's mafia kill and see where everyone stands.
My only fear is that the mafia offs higgi in an attempt to make me look guilty, which I am not.

Okay here goes nothing...
First of all, after reading all this I can honestly say that I don't know who to trust anymore. I can look at all of your posts and find reason why everyone of you could be guilty.
The inspector jen theory claims hgh and strum are two of the mafia members.
Synopsis: Strum defends himself.... A LOT.
But... -In the beginning it seemed like roo was almost deliberately placing subtle hints as to be the inspector but he made sure to clearly state that he was not the inspector which initially made me think he was the inspector but trying to be discreet. He was very adamant that hgh was mafia.
-jen then comes out with her role and says that she knows hgh and strum are guilty which supports roo's statements which just seems a little too convenient. Maybe roo was gonna play the inspector card but then jen came out with it in hopes we would buy it.
so maybe they're working together? but then jen winds up dead which means...
a)strum and hgh really are guilty b)the mafia killed one of they're own in an attempt to take control of the game from early on.
If strum and hgh are guilty than that means there could be one more mafia left.
From this POV, the third member could be: 1. wolf (jen's third guess who participated in activity all players have found to be suspicious.) 2. higgi (who is very anti hippie, trying to turn people against her?) 3. (let's not forget the possibility of trill nathen)
BUT if jen was a member of the mafia that would change things COMPLETELY because it would mean that roo is 99% guilty with her. This view brings another lists of suspects: 1. hippie (she keeps relying on that "but jen said I was innocent" but she didn't really... that is a maybe that she keeps leaning on like a crutch and she has been a vote flip flopper the entire game.) 2. higgi (who doesn't take offense against anyone but hippie) 3. bacon (who has been a strong supporter of jen and to my knowledge, he has never questioned her role)
Somebody is lying and it is either strum or jen/roo. I have a plan. I propose that we all keep our votes for strum this round and next round we all vote for roocon. That way we know we will get at least one mafia member in exchange for a townsperson, either way the townspeople will still have the numbers if the game doesn't end with one of those two rounds.
Psychedelic K-Dogg monster after eating a bag of glowsticks as an appetizer, and hgh for dinner, found out eatining glowsticks made phish much more fun. his body glowed and blinked with the music, and the scary monster could be seen noodle dancing for the whole set. When it was over, Kdogg needed more phish. He wandered over to the which stage, but public enemy was playing. this hurt kdogg monsters ears more than any dog whistle ever could. he needed more psycedellic jamming. He wandered over to the camping area where hopefully some campers were blaring some phish shows. He came across strum, sitting with some friends recalling the awesome day of music they had just seen. strum was strumming some bob dylan on his guitar and everyone sang along. kdogg did not like this folksy acoustic music after phish. he smashed the guitar over strums head. "that little girl didn't fill me up. im gonna eat you too." and he did
For the record, I left Friday Phish to catch that Public Enemy set and have absolutely no regrets about it.
As to me saying things in the thread... as I said to Bacon way back in Day One... I'm not trying to influence the game. I don't have an agenda here. None of those posts were intended to sway the game one way or another - they were my neutral thoughts on how the game works. You'd prefer it if I tell you my thoughts on the game when I do have an agenda, but not when I don't? That kind of puzzles me. Anyway, seeing as this is probably my last swing through Inforoo for a while - this time tomorrow we hit the road for Maryland - you won't have to worry about me anymore...
Bacon had had a really long Saturday night at roo so he decided to go back to his camp and pass out. Unfortunately for him, he tripped and fell over a neighbor's warm grill and knocked himself out on their bumper. When his neighbors awoke the next morning it was too late. The bacon was extra crispy.
Hopefully bek will believe you I guess.
